Chapter 1
My phone vibrated in my pocket in the middle of class. I took it out and saw that my mother had texted me. "Come streight home after school." It said. I shoved it back in my pocket annoyed.
When i got home i saw a moving truck parked in my drive way. This couldnt be any good. I walked inside and saw boxes with our things in them. "Oh! Finally." I hurd my mum say. " Whats going on?" I looked around noticing half of the living room is plane and empty. "I got a job in Mayberry." My mother said in a happy tone. But i on the other hand was not happy about this. "Mayberry... North Carolina?" That is 11 hours from New York. Which is obviously my home. "Mum no! Thats a long drive from home!"
"It's not gonna be our home no more."
"Im staying! Im not going."
"Um, No your not. Your coming wether you like it or not."
I stormed into my bedroom, slamming the door behind me. I was angry. I pulled out my phone and diled my best friend, Eves number.
"Hey. What are you doing tonight"?
"Nothing, why?"
I smirked.
