Chapter 2

"Come on, quick!" I yelled to Eve. She was jogging slowly. We were currently running away from the police. Why? Because some hobo sniched on us. We were just expressing our feelings on a wall outside the subway stations. Yes, spray painting. Some people see it as trashy artwork, but others see it as a way of expression, the only way people can know how anothers feeling but not knowing who they really are.

The sirens were getting closer and closer. "Eve!! Speed up!" Eve looked like she was going to faint. I dont blame her if she does because we've been at it for maybe a hour. "I.. cant." She stopped to pull out her inhaliler. She inhailed into it and then looked at me. "Lets go!"

And we ran to the end of the alley but as soon as we got there, the police had beat us. "Put your hands up in the air where we can see them." So, we did.

And here we are now at the police station waiting for our parents to come pick us up. Im not really sure how many times i've been here. "Your mother is on her way." Said one of the cops.

"Okay." And right after i said that, she walked through the door, filled out some papers and some guy came to get me.

My mom and I walked out of the station and i was preparing for her big 'speech' she always gives me. But it didnt come. "Um.. Are you going to give me your speech about not doing that again?"

"No." Wow. Maybe this is the first time I'll get to be off the hook. "When we get home i want your room packed up and ready to leave by 7 am." Or not.
