chapter 3

When i got home my it was only 4:00

The party didnt start for another 4 hours.

My mom was working late tonight till 12:00 shes a lawyer and usually always stays at her job till midnight.sometimes i feel like she just really doesnt want to come home. ever since 2 years ago my dad died in a car accident i was only 14 ,it hit me and my pretty mom hard . I know she hasnt moved past it yet ,but whenever i try talking to her about it she gets angry and just says "he was a good man." or "theres not much we can do about it now." i barely see her anymore shes always working and is never home. she does it to aviod me and i know it. Im always alone now.

i pushed those thoughts passed me

I decided to go upstairs to pick out my outfit for tonight

But failing when i realize i have.nothing to wear, and when i mean nothing i mean it. my whole closet consits of skinny jeans and graphic tees, nothing to go to a party.

I grabbed my i phone off my bed and texted emily.

Em ,i need your assistance ASAP ! I have nothing to wear tonight !

Her reply came less then a minute

Dont worry , i already took care of that c: ...

*sighs*

I dont like the sound of that.

2 hours later around 6:30 emily came with two big shopping bags.

"em what is all of this???"

"our outfits tonight !!! Your gonna.soooo love them!!!"

With that i chuckled , "alright lets see them"

She told me to turn around so it could be a surprise do i did , i heard her digging in the bags to get the clothes out.

"kay!! Turn around!"

I looked down 

And there was a beautiful dress a very short dress might i add 

It was black and strapless 

next to it was a pair of black dangly earings with black pumps.

"em!" I screeched

"you love it don't you!!!"

"sure if i was going to a club!"

"have you been to jake lawsons Parties!?"

Truth was i havent

"no"

"well thats why ! You have to dress to impress girl!"

"you sure about this?.."

"Positive ! "

"who throws a party on a thursday anyways.?"

"cool people duh ."

"alright then lets get ready" i said smiling

An hour later

"em are you doneee" i whined

"almostttttt " she said in a sing song vioce

"okay just hurry my butt hurts from sitting for so longg"

Touch   kay your officially done " i looked up at her

"can i look now ?"

"yup" i stood up happy to stand , i walked over to the mirror and almost didnt regonize myself  , i had my hair down in curls that reached my back. for my makeup emily applied fake eye lashes and black shimmery eye shadow complimenting my hazel brown eyes. My dress hugged my curves perfectly and my shoes and earings made the outfit come together . Probably in the first time in forever i looked beautiful.

"damn , im good " em looked at me through the mirror .

She wore a dress also with a jean jacket and hoop earing with her blonde hair straight with pumps

She looked gorgeous .

"you look gorgeous em ."

"thank you thank you i try ."

We busted out laughing.

Beep beep

"that must me josh" i said

"lets gooo get this party started! " she yelled

For some reason i was starting to have an odd feeling in my chest , but i pushed it behind me .

"you okay alex?" Em said looking at me

"yea just a little nervous i guess."

When i got to joshs car he steped out and was gaping at me

Literally his mouth fell open

"take a picture it lasts longer " i joked

He started to blush, he shoved his hands in his pockets and stared at the ground

"sorry alex , its just you look smokin in that dress ."

I laughed , "such a charmer joshie woshie " as i pinched his cheeks.he playfully slapped my hand away

"oh be quiet alexandria ."
