Damian Wayne X OC

Chapter 3

"Father?"
Damian glared at the sight in front of him, Batman and Nightwing, both in costume, were standing in the middle of his apartment , he narrowed his eyes
"what are you doing here" spat Damian
"little D, we were worried about you" spoke nightwing
"No you weren't you made that very clear" snapped Damian looking at his father
"Damian, nightwing is right, we really were worried about you, I didn't mean what I said in the cave yesterday, it was really foolish of me" spoke the batman pushing back his cowl
"You meant it, you could never love a monster like me, I've always been a burden on you and you hate me" cried Damian, his eyes watering up
"Dami, we don't hate you, please, you are my little brother, I love you" said nightwing on the verge of crying
"Please Damian, I'm sorry for what I said, I could never hate you, your my son and your frustrating to handle sometimes but I still love you" said Bruce
Much to Batman and Nightwings surprise, streams of tears made their way down Damian's face.
"Dami, come home, please we all love you, even Tim loves you" said Nightwing tears slipping from his mask
"a.. are you s..ure" sobbed  Damian 
" As sure as we'll ever be" said Bruce smiling and pulling Damian into a tight embrace , Damian returned the hug
"Can I come home" he said in a small voice
"of course you can" said  Dick smiling

   Time skip to when Bruce and Dick brought Damian back into the cave

The bat mobile rolled up in the cave, Tim looked to see Damian, Dick and Bruce emerged out of it, when he saw Damian there was a moment of hesitation and awkwardness between the two,
"hey, Demon, nice to see you back" Timothy finally said
Damian just nodded and went up to his room to text Katie about his recent return to the Manor.
"Well, that could have gone worse" said Dick happy that Tim and Damian weren't down each others throats as soon as they came back.

                    Katie's house
Katie snuck inside using the back door and quietly took of her shoes. Then she tried to quietly tiptoe into her room
"Katie"
Shit, busted
"Where were you? " asks Lauren Matthews, her mother
"Out" says Katie with her signature cocky smirk
"Out where?" asks her mother getting frustrated
"She was probably out with a guy all night" teased 16 year old Lizzie Matthews, her full name was Elizabeth but she preferred to be called Lizzie , Lizzie was her cousin from her mothers side, who lost her parents in an accident when she was six, since then, Lauren has been taking care of her niece like she was her own daughter.Lizzie was more like a sister to Katie , they both laughed and joked together and sometimes Lizzie even gave Katie dating advice,but just as all sisters, Lizzie could be a major pain in the ass
"Yes, I was out with a guy" says Katie, her smirk still in place as both her mother and cousin's eyes went wide
"WHAT" they both screamed
"Chill it was only Damian" says Katie
"Huh? " says  Lizzie
"Damian as in Damian Al Ghul? " asks her mother, Lauren had been good friends with Talia Al Ghul but then Talia got busy with the league of assassins and Lauren got busy with settling down into a new life after her divorce with Katie's father.
"yeah, he lives here in Gotham with his dad and siblings" answers Katie.
"hmm he's okay, I've known him and his mother for a long time, you can hang out with him" says Lauren
"Wait, he's the guy your crushing on, isn't he" exclaims Lizzie
Katie glares at Lizzie, regretting telling her about him.
"Okay I'm not talking about this" says Katie and goes to check the texts from Damian and to text him back.
Lauren just smiled in amusement at the two.

                  Wayne Manor

'Should I tell them about Katie,they will probably tease me' thought Damian. He really liked Katie and didn't want his crazy family scaring her off. He wondered how his family would react if he told them that he had a crush on Katie, Grayson and Brown would probably be super excited, his father would probably be really awkward and want to do background checks on Katie, but he'll never hear the end of it if Drake or Todd found out, they will probably try to find every possible way to embarrase him, in fact the only one in the family who will have a favourable and mature attitude would be Cain.
Damian and Cassandra had a strong bond because  they shared a similar past and she understood him,this bond was made even stronger when Grayson managed to convince Cass to move into the Manor, Damian had openly called Cassandra his sister and sometimes referred to her by her first name,after a little thinking he decided he'll take some advice from Cass about his little crush.
"Cassandra, I require your assistance" said Damian.
Cass looked up from the book she was reading and then put it aside
"Okay, what do you need help with, little brother" said Cass
"Promise you won't laugh" said Damian sternly
"Alright, promise now what do you want" said Cass a little curious
"d..d...Dating advice" said Damian blushing
Cass stared at him and then burst out laughing
"see, I knew you would laugh" whined Damian
"N..no its not....I'm not laughing at you" she said between chuckles, it was hard to imagine Damian dating somebody.
Damian crossed his arms and made the most adorable pouty face.
"Awww" said Cass "So who's the lucky girl"
"Her name is Katie and we have known each other since we were kids" said Damian "she is the daughter of the devil and I saved her from some evil scientists who wanted to experiment on her but I've had a crush on her for a while now but I don't want to ruin the friendship we have"
"hmm," said Cass "That's a tough situation, but you should tell her how you really feel and who knows, maybe she likes you to"
"Huh, like that will ever happen" Damian muttered to himself
Cass heard that but decided not to comment
"So, when can I meet her" Cassandra asked curious to meet the girl who stole Damian Wayne's heart.
"Soon" replied Damian
Suddenly they heard a crash outside the door followed by a string of colourful words.
Both of them went outside to see   Stephanie Brown fallen down with the expensive vase in the corridor now shattered in pieces,
"YOU WERE EAVESDROPPING ON US WEREN'T YOU" yelled Damian blushing like crazy while Cass burst out laughing again
"I.. uh.., GUYS DAMIAN HAS A CRUSH ON THE DAUGHTER OF SATAN" she screamed
