Isabella's POV
I finally finished preparing myself for my guesting tonight in Ellen's show. I took a deep breathe as I walked out of my dressing room and I prepped my fingers for I will play the piano right at the end of my interview and sing my hit single "All Too Well".
"Isabella, you are almost up," Jen told me. I nodded and I walked to the stage door where I will enter. I made sure I memorized the lyrics right. Even if I am already a huge superstar, I still get scared of the fact that I will sing infront of many people, even a little crowd. But I try as possible not to be and be in my best performance and if I do a mistake, well, I have to accept it.
"And tonight, we have a very special guest. She just arrived all the way from London, fresh from her win of Best New Artist in the Brits! Let use welcome, the talented and gorgeous singer-songwriter Isabella Williams!"
I stepped out and the crowd cheered as I showed up. I saw lots of Bellas inside the studio and they are bringing posters or something to show love towards me. I smiled wide and waved at them.
"Welcome Isabella!" Ellen greeted me as she gave me a peck on the cheek. "Nice to see you again! When was the last time we saw each other?"
I sat down and answered her question. "That was in California. And you were beaching. And you got tan lines everywhere, at the wrong places,"
She laughed as well as the audience. "Oh yes, I remembered. And I asked some tan lotion from you because I wasn't able to bring mine,"
I nodded. "Exactly. You were so burned that you told me you don't want to move because it was painful."
"You remembered everything?" she asks.
"All the words. That is where I am good at,"
"No wonder you are a good songwriter!" Ellen exclaimed. The audience cheered. "And they agree!" the audience cheered more. "Okay, let us not talk about the tan line thing because I already had forgotten it until you reminded me."
'You asked me," I told her.
"And I am regretting for asking that," she said and the audience laughed. "Okay Isabella. So how are you? Like, how different your life was before and now?"
"I am really fine." I answered with a smile. "I'm enjoying my life now. To be honest, my life now is very different from before I got into the music business. I was merely a nobody until I got discovered."
"So, is there anything or at least a thing that never really changed at all?" she asks.
"I guess nothing was left the same after I started out. To be honest? I am very different before. As I have said, I was a nobody. Only few people notices me. Like, it's weird that you are hearing this from someone like me whom everyone have expected to have lots of friends of the past. But I really had only a few friends then."
"Are you and your friends are in contact still?'
"None of them all are. But few, yes." I answered. "We still talk and hang out and you know, do the stuff we do together before. Yet, it is so sad that I only have like less time to do it with them unlike before but I am so lucky because they understood that I am busy doing my job and they are really supportive of me."
"I see." Ellen nods. "But one thing Isabella. Many are curious of your life then, right before becoming the Isabella everyone loves, adore and idolizes. Many consider you as a mysterious person."
"I guess because I don't talk that much about my past or my life before becoming who I am today. The reason is there is nothing really interesting about me before so I want to keep it to myself instead. People will be obviously bored by the time I will share about it."
