I stepped over the threshold. My brain was wizzing of the sad memories of 23rd of July. I had snapped out of my thoughts as Carly closed the door loudly. She walked right past me, and into the living room at the back of the downstairs. I followed her, she was measuring the wall with her hand.
She was standing in the place where my mum was murdered.
Carly: What do you think Ally?
I didn't answer her. I just strolled to the wall she was measuring. I ran my hand along it. I found the corner of the paper and ripped it. I carried on ripping it. Carly had jumped back in shock.

Ally was just ripping off the wallpaper. I didn't understand why she was ripping it. She stopped and stood back. I saw splashes of red paint on the wallpaper underneath. She then took a few steps to her left and bent down. She grabbed the carpet and ripped it up. I had to jump out of the way, before it tripped me up. I was now leaning against the far sofa from the entrance.
There was more red splashes of paint on the floor. Ally was acting very weird. Like she knew this place. Like she had been here before. She moved to the other side of the living room door and grabbed the wallpaper and ripped it off in one clean rip. I was shaking with fear.
Everywhere she had ripped there was many red splashes of paint. Was she trying to find something? Was she physic and could tell if there's something not normal? I edged to the back wall. She walked out and minutes later came back with a knife and two chairs.
She started scratching the paint off the chairs. Is she mad?
Carly: Ally? Ally, what's wrong?
She just ignored me. She was really scaring me. 10 minutes it took her to scratch the paint off the chairs. She put the knife down on the floor and grabbed the two chairs. She put them just behind the red splashes on the floor. I noticed that even the chairs had red splashes. Was it blood?

I lined the chairs up to how they were the night I watch them get killed.
Carly: Ally? Ally, answer me. What is going on?
I turned to Carly. She slowly stepped closer until she reached my left side. We both looked at what I had done.
Ally: Take a good look. What do you think happened?
Carly: Whoever used to live here had a paint fight whilst trying to paint the living room red?
Ally: No. This is why they didn't want you to know how I ended up with you lot. Also why they didn't want me to know. They weren't going to let me live here. This house was meant to be destroyed. Carly they have lied to us.
Carly: Ally? What do you mean? How have they lied to us? How does this have anything to do with you being fostered by Mum and Dad?
Ally: This was a crime scene. 15 years ago. Do you remember the news 15 years ago?
Carly: No. I remember I used to watch the news all the time with Mum and Dad. But then one night, they stopped me watching it. They never told me why.
Ally: Do you remember the date?
Carly: Ally seriously?
Ally: The date! You are good at remembering dates.
Carly: I don't know. End of July?
Ally: Thursday 23rd July 2002. 15 years ago. Mandy Woods sat here. ( I pointed to the chair on my right ) Martin Woods sat there. ( I pointed to the chair on my left ) Twinkles lay motionless next to Martin Woods.
I pointed to just outside the living room door.
Ally: Their daughter sat there. All tied up. ( I felt tears streaming down my face. It bring back that night ) A man stood in-between where we are standing now. He let the Mum have her final words before he stabbed her in the back multiple times, and then shot her in the temple. The dog was already dead. The man then stood behind Martin Woods, let him have his final words then did the exact same. The man left the daughter unharmed. ( I was bursting out in tears ) Do you know my real name, Carly?
Carly just stood there shocked. She had tears trickling down as it had hit her soft spot.
Carly: No?
Ally: Ally-Lee Woods. I WAS THAT GIRL, THAT WATCHED HER PARENTS GET MURDERED AT 5 YEARS OLD. I WAS THE ONE THAT THOUGHT IT WAS A DREAM, BUT IT TURNED OUT REAL. I WAS THE ONE WHO ASKED A WOMEN IF I COULD GO TO HEAVEN AS WELL. TO BE WITH MY PARENTS. I AM THAT GIRL THAT EVERYONE FELT SORRY FOR, EVERY YEAR THEY TRY AND FIND ME, AND I ALWAYS HIDE AWAY FROM IT. JUST BECAUSE SOME BASTARD MURDERED MY FUCKING PARENTS, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY RUINED HIS PARENTS AND HIS CHILDHOOD.
I broke down then and there. I fell to the floor and crying loudly. My head was buried in my hands. Carly crouched down beside me and pulled me into a hug. I couldn't believe what her parents had done, and I couldn't believe that a crime scene as big as this was covered up.
_ _ _ _ _
We had left the house 2 hours ago. My eyes were all red and puffy from where I had been crying a lot. Carly's eyes were red from crying. Carly had told the guard to let no one, not even her own parents enter the building and the guard agreed. We were at the SideMen house. They didn't fire me when we turned up late, they actually jumped out and called surprise. Carly had set me up a birthday party.
Freya was there. She walked up to me. She looked at my eyes and knew I had been crying. She pulled me into a long hug. When she let go, Simon shouted group hug and everyone hugged me and Freya. Once we had had our hug, we all went into the kitchen and had a few drinks. We danced a lot and we were all having a good time.
I thanked Carly for such a great party.
Carly: It's not over yet. Look.
I turned around, and I was shocked with happiness. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Conor and Elza were standing there in front of me. I smiled. Elza dropped her bag and ran at me. I caught her in my arms and spun her around. I put her back down and Conor embraced me into a huge hug. I pulled away. Freya came and stood to my left and Carly stood on my right.
Carly: This is that surprise, I was talking about.
Freya: We are glad you like your surprise.
Ally: Thanks Carly, thanks Freya.
I hugged them both.
Conor: Actually. It wasn't them. It was Simon.
I turned to Simon behind me. I gave him a hug. I squeezed to show my appreciation. I pulled away.
Ally: Thanks.
