Chapter 2

The niose

So this is when it all started. At first when I went up to my room I just laid on my bed bouncing a ball off the ceiling. Then I heard my mom come upstairs and yell, " Matthias, what is that offal noise your making!"

At that point I sprung off my bed and started unpacking my trophies first. I had to work fast to make my mom think that I'd been working this entire time. And finally I yelled back, "nothing mom just putting my trophies on the Shelf!"

And at that exact moment in time right as I finished telling her that, this loud screeching went throughout the entire house. And that is when I got up off my butt and ran to the door. As soon as I got there I tried to open it. But it wasn't budging! At that point I just started yelling over and over again," let me out let me out, Megan I know that it's you. This isn't funny let me out." When at that moment came out of her room I heard screaming. And finally my door was unlocked. Then I go running out of my room wondering what the heck was going on. We both ran downstairs as fast as we could trying to get as far away from what we have just witnessed. That's when my mom yelled at us, "what the heck do you think you two are doing! You had me worried sick, now what's wrong!" then me and Megan start talking at the exact same time telling her what we've witnessed. But halfway through both of our stories she stopped us and said," wow, wow, wow, slow down I can't understand either of you. One at a time." At that point, Megan started her side of the story, she said, "I was just in my room unpacking all my dance competition stuff. When all of a sudden I heard this sharp noise. It sounded like the beginning of a rock and roll song that Matthias put on to annoy me. But then the sound never passed it just kept on going, and then all of a sudden things started flying out of boxes everywhere. And I couldn't stop it. And then I tried to exit but my door was locked, and I couldn't  get out no matter how hard I tried. But then I heard Matthias yelling at the exact same time. So I knew that it wasn't just me that this was happening to but then all the sudden as soon as I stop yelling the door was unlocked so I started running out and at that point I Matthias ran out of his room and we both ran downstairs."

"Wow, that is the most ridiculous thing I have heard all day out of your mouth. young lady!" Mom said back.

At that point I started my story, I told them how I heard the exact same screeching noise, and then my whole room started to shake. So I went to my door and try to open it. But it wouldn't budge and then finally I heard Megan. Megan was screaming and trying to get out. But neither of us could. But as soon as we stop screaming. Our doors were unlocked suddenly. Then our mom said the most shocking thing that we have ever heard. She said, well maybe it's just a construction error in the foundation that might be why I got it so cheap."

At that point me and Megan just stared at each other. We had no idea what this house would entail and at that point we knew that this house wasn't a normal house. And this was just the beginning.
