Chapter 5

Back at home

When I got home from school, Megan was blaring The Greatest Showman for the thousandth time. But I had no intent to stay and listen to A Million Dreams for more then I have to. So I say hi to my mom, then went to my room to see if anything else extraterrestrial happens. The more I find out about my house, the more I will know about the monster or what ever it is living in our house. As soon I heard the screeching noise start coming back, my mom barged into my room and said, "I think some of your friends are here from school. And i know that your still grounded, but I think ill make an exception this one time. So have fun, now go!"

I was so shocked about what she had just said I forgot to move. But as soon as I registered what she just said I ran down stairs to meet then. As soon as I reached the door Melanie said, "hey we thought you would want to do some investigation with your friends. And to get out of being grounded for a afternoon."

"So here we are!" Jacob said.

"Well now you guys are here lets go to my room. Ill show you what happened. Then we can have my sister come in and tell you exactly what happened." I said.

They all shock there heads and started to head up the stairs.when we got to my room I had to push some of my tan books around. I brick a few in the process but at lest we will have more room now. Then she started to tell use all the stories she knew. She said, "there was this one boy named Justin it was on Halloween, he was just going around and all of a sudden he went to this house, no one was there when he opened the door. But the door opened and he thought that it was just a funny joke. But then all of a sudden he heard a load screeching noise. He went into the house to investigate. But when he went in he found nothing. But he was never able to talk again." but right as she finished we heard it! The screeching noise. It got loader and loader. Then I heard my sister in her room screaming. Then I yelled at my friends by saying, "this what happened last time."

"Lets try the door!" Jacob shouted, then we all stood up and dashed to the door as fast as we could. It was locked. My sister was screaming loader and loader. Then finally it unlocked.we rushed into my sisters room. When we found her she was curled in a ball in the corner of her closet crying. We ran up to her and asked her what happened.after we stood her up she told everything. She said, ", all of a sudden I heard the screeching again, then something started attacking me! I couldn't see what it looked like besides its big teeth that it tried to get me with. But I didn't see it! I didn't see it!"

,It ok Megan its ok you didn't have to all I care about is you, now tell me what they, that, it looked like. Or as much as you can remember." all I remember. Is its teeth, and its inhuman face. It was like a monkey dog mix, and it was as black as coffie, with no sign of life. But when it stairs at you with its heartless drown eyes you fear for your life, but can't do anything against it to protect your life. The only thing that saved me, was you guys rushing into my room. Or I would be died right now." she said

"Ok every thing alright know . In Jacob and this is Melanie," he said pointing to Melanie. "We are your brothers friends. And we are going to figure out what's going on with your house and what's in it that keeps doing this." he said

"We can't tell pure mom! She replied

"Why not?" he asked,

"No adults can hear it. "They have no imagination" the thing told me. So she won't hear it. We will just have to do it our self's from know on." she said

"What do you mean the thing told you?" Matthius asked.

"It can talk the thing can talk! It has a raspy and hard.
, voice more menacing then I ever thought possible in my entire life. We have to figure out what's going on before be become the next victoms. But we can't talk hear it listens better then it talks. We need to go some else but not here, anywhere but here. She replied,

"Fine lets head to my house and talk about it there." Jacob offered. Then we where on our way out the door to Jacobs house.
