~Todoroki's POV~
I wait for him as the music begins to play. I'd always dreamt of this day, since the moment I'd met him. He was beautiful, in everyway. And his smile was the highlight of my life, I lived for that smile and that smile alone. I can't help but smile as All Might appears in the doorway, at his side was Izuku. They walked down the aisle, Izuku's face a cherry red color.
The minister faces us and I take Izuku's hand. "Before we begin, are there any objections?" His voice thunders throughout the hall, echoing. "Going once....going twi-" a hand goes up. Everyone whips their head in that direction to see who it is. It's Uraraka, standing there bashfully with her hand being held high into the air by the one and only, Bakugo. Part of me couldn't stand him. The way he always looks so desperately at Izuku with craving and desire. But the other part of me wants him. More than I want Izuku. I want to pull him into me and let our tongues have a deep conversation and leave a mark for the world to know that he was mine. But he wasn't mine, and I could never tell him my feelings because he clearly loved Izuku. And I know my love couldn't compare to his, but if marrying Izuku was the only way to get his attention, then so be it.
"We object!" Bakugo shouted, spitting his chewed lollipop stick onto the ground.~Uraraka's POV~
"We object!" Bakugo shouts, spitting the stick from his mouth onto the ground. Although I wasn't really that into the idea of Deku marrying Todoroki, I felt like an idiot having my hand raised as if I were a grade school child raising my hand to answer a question.
Deku looks from me to Bakugo, a look of pure disappointment in his eyes. I felt sorry for him, after all his two best friends were objecting to his wedding! "State your reason!" The minister booms, an irritated look on his face. I look over at Bakugo. I look over in the direction that he's looking. He and Todoroki were having a stare down.
"Deku I-" I was about to tell him a lie but stopped myself. I can't lie to him any longer. He needed to know the truth, that I didn't fully approve of their marriage. "Deku, as you best friend I have to tell you this honestly. I don't think you should be marrying Todoroki." Everyone, excluding Bakugo, Todoroki, Deku, and the minister, gasp. "I've seen the way you two look at each other. You look at him like he is a prize, something you treasure. And Todoroki looks at you the same way. But the way you look at Bakugo," I grab Bakugo's hand, although he begins to resist, and slowly begin walking him down the aisle, "the way you look at Bakugo, is the way a person who's been starving and thirsty for weeks in the desert looks at a puddle of water that they're finally able to spot. You look at him with craving and desire, longing and lu-" Deku shouts. "You're wrong! I love Todoroki." Tears begin to fall down his face.~Bakugo's POV~
I keep silent as Uraraka speaks. It was the first time I'd ever seen her so serious and to be honest, it was amusing. Cutting her off mid speech, Deku shouts at her. "You're wrong! I love Todoroki...I do..." Tears begin to fall down his face. Uraraka's still slowly dragging me towards the front down this seemingly never ending aisle. "Your in denile Deku. You want to love him, but your feelings for Bakugo are too strong." Uraraka looks at me with pleading eyes. "Say something." I stare up at Deku, his face a mess of tears. But even still, he was beautiful. I wanted to be his number one.
"Deku," my voice trembles as the words escape my lips before I can think," I don't want you to marry him...please...not him." I say pleadingly, I look down at the ground, feeling pathetic. "I- You had your chance, and you missed it...I loved you, but now, I love Todoroki." He said angrily, but under it all, was an emotion he couldn't keep out of his tone although he tried his hardest to burry it in rage. Sadness. His sadness seemed to leak out him. He was disappointed.
I couldn't do this anymore. Tears began to form in my eyes. Stifled sobs began to escape me as I tried to fight them back. "Deku won't you just here Bakugo out? He's been-" Uraraka stops talking. Hot tears pour like fired shots down my face. "Bakugo what's wrong?" "YOU SHITTY NERD!" I shout. I rip off the pin that Deku had given me in third grade, I've always worn it with every outfit since the moment I received it, and threw it to the ground. I ran out of the room, not bothering to turn back even at the sound of the pin shattering.~FlashBack~
I was all alone. Everyone wanted to play with me, they were all my friends, but I'm still lonely. I want a real friend.
The new student walks into the classroom. "I'm Izuku, I hope we can all get along." He takes his seat next to me. "Hi." I glance over at him, he was smiling. "I'm gonna call you Deku." He laughs, responding with a simple ok. But why? He was the new student, and was all alone, in a big new place, and was given a nickname that wasn't even nice, so why was he smiling?
I love sitting under the slide to eat lunch while everyone eats in the lunchroom. Although I hate being alone, under the slide makes me feel at ease.
"Surely you must be lonely." I look up to a bright smile. "No, I'm not actually." Sitting down beside me, he opened his bento. "Here." Deku held out a sandwich to me. Now to you, it may not seem like much. To you, it may seem like just a nice boy trying to make a friend, nothing more nothing less. But to me, it was an initiation of friendship, the most precious thing anyone had ever given me.The school year has finally come to an end. Throwing books and papers in the air, all the students run out of the classroom. "Wait Bakugo! Before you leave, I have something I want to give you." I gulp, my heart racing face, my body feeling as if it were burning. "Wh-what i-is it?" I manage to say. "Close your eyes." Closing my eyes, I pucker my lips, expecting to feel another pair on mine. "You can open them now." It must have been an expression I made because suddenly Deku looked dejected. "You don't like it, do you?" I look down and see a pin reading : best. Looking at Deku, I notice a matching pin on his shirt that read : friends. Tears forming in my eyes, I pull Deku into a hug. It was then, I had made the decision I would marry him.
~Deku~
Kacchan runs out of the room, the pin I gave him falls to the ground and shatters. "Bakugo wait!" Uraraka calls after him. She turns to me and give a look of disappointment. "That was very insensitive of you Deku, you could've at least heard Bakugo out. Especially since before you proposed to Todoroki, Bakugo was going to propose to you."
