Rod POV
After the welcome ceremony for Peak, it was as if I pushed my feelings about Penny aside. I was so shy around Peak, and I didn't know what was causing it.
Am I in love with Peak?
I decided I was in love after all.
I ran to talk to my best friend.
"Uh, Swift, I could use some advice..."
The blue jay turned around. "Is this about Penny," he asked worriedly. I laughed and shook my head. "It's... it's Peak... I think I love her... what should I do?"
"Well, first things first just be yourself. If she doesn't love the real you, then I'd feel sorry for her. Secondly, ask her out!"
"If it was that easy, you'd be dating Penny..."
Swift's face took on a pinkish tinge.
"Anyway, just be you."
Swift POV
My friend thanked me, then ran off.
I smiled. Suddenly I saw Brody.
"Swift, can we talk? It's about Peak..."
Oh no...
"Sure... what about her?"
"I think I like her..."
"It's ok. Just be yourself, I guess."
"If it was that easy, you'd be dating Penny..."
Why does everyone say that?!
"Just do what you gotta do..."
"Primo! Thanks Swift!"
With that he left. As he did I could only think of one thing.
This could cause problems.... lots of problems.
