Chapter 3

THE NEXT DAY

You were sitting with morgan and Jess at lunch for the second time. They were starting to grow on you. They weren't the most popular girls in school, but they were pretty popular. They were yapping about some kind of hair product, but you were staring at axl from across the cafeteria. 3 more of their friends sat down and started talking more about products. Axl ran his fingers through his hair and bit his lip. You bit yours and started twirling your hair on your finger. You soon snapped out of your thought when Morgan slapped your arm. "ow!" you yelped. "who do you keep staring at y/n?" Jess asked. You quickly thought of some excuse. "just the food over there. It looks really good." you basically talked in fast forward. "then why don't you?" one of the other girls asked. "oh, I'm not allowed to have anymore food until 4:00. I have to calorie count, and I only have a few hundred left. I want to save them for a snack and dinner." the girls quickly nodded, afraid of asking more. The bell rang and you quickly sat up to rush to drama class.

The final bell rang, and you were happy to leave. You felt a nudge on your shoulder. It was axl. "hey are you still coming over to tutor me?" shit. You totally forgot. "axl, I forgot, but I still can." you took out your phone and left your mom a voicemail, saying you were going to tutor him. "alright, let's go." you smiled. Axl put his arm around you and you blushed a deep red. You were halfway to his house when you heard someone scream his name. "AXL AXL AXL!!!!!" "Jesus" you muttered. Axl turned around. "oh god keep walking. Keep walking." you turned around and saw the girl from the office yesterday. "hey, weren't you that girl arguing with the office lady? Sadie, Sally... Wasn't it sue?" the girls stopped dead in her tracks. "you remembered me?" she stuttered. "um, I guess?" "you're the first person to remember me besides my family." she hugged you tightly. "y/n, this is my sister, Sue." axl said rolling his eyes. "I knew your last name sounded familiar." you said smiling. "well I'm going to Carly's house. See you later axl!!" she squealed as she ran down the street laughing. "is she on drugs?" you asked. Axl busted out laughing. "sadly, no. That's what she's like all the time."

You guys arrived home. "MOM? DAD? BRICK?" axl yelled. "brick is my younger brother." he settled your confusion when no one answered back. He gestured to a tiny couch for us to sit on. We pulled out our books and and I started helping him on formulas. Axl soon got the hang of it. "hey, can you help me with this one?" he asked. "sure. You just move the x to add the 3 to the..." your voice moved to a whisper as axl looked up from his book. You both were quiet for a minuet. His blue eyes sparkled as your e/c eyes looked to them. He started to lean in, gently titling his head. You responded by tilting it the opposite way. Your faces were inches apart when you slowed down as he sped up. You shut your eyes as he made his move. You soon felt a pair of soft lips on yours. You gently started to kiss back. You put your hand on his cheek as he put his hand on your hips. This was your first kiss, and it was amazing. You started running your fingers through his hair as the kiss deepned. You felt his tongue gentley rub across your bottom lip. You quickly pulled away. "y/n, are you ok?" he asked softly. "ya, I've just never been kissed before." "oh I'm sorry." he mumbled. You smiled and leaned in for another kiss. "it's fine, just nervous." you kissed him again and you felt him smile through it as he leaned over you. You guys quickly broke the kiss, hearing the door unlock. "hey axl." a woman with a typical mom haircut walked in with a young boy, probably brick. "oh hello there. I'm Frankie, axl's mom." "hi, I'm y/n. sorry axl but it's 4:30, I have to get going." "ok, I'll drive you." you smiled from him offer as he led you out the door and into his car.
