Her eyes were probably the most beautiful things I have ever seen...
I know she has the same dark brown eyes as her whole family, she has told me a million times. But I know the truth; Everybody's eyes are different and unique.
But this isn't about how dark her eyes are or how intimidating her father's are.
It's the light that is behind her eyes and how everything she sees is reflected back twice as bright. How they follow the emotions of the person she is currently with. If someone is sad; they are sorry and caring. If someone is excited; they are proud and happy. But, most importantly, she is a rock.
She's a rock that you can always count on to help you through hard times. She believes in others. If someone she knows is hurting or cutting themselves down, she is always there with a side of her never-ceasing confidence and peace.
She is strong. Even when she is alone and thinks no one is looking, her eyes say it all. You can tell exactly how she is feeling with one short glance.
Now her eyes are completely calm. As she looks up at the sky, I can see the stars being reflected off her eyes, and I knew that this is where she wants to be.
I could tell she was embarrassed that I was staring at her, so I sighed and turned on the grass to look at the stars. I was not able to focus on them...
They were not as bright as her eyes.
