Behind Your Eyes (Short Story)

Every girl has a mental picture of their dream guy. And every girl knows that when you are building your dream guy, you always start with the eyes.

And just as much as everyone knows that, everyone knows eyes are the windows to the soul. And something every girl needs to know is the soul behind the their dream guy.

Your eyes are who you are. The say exactly what you are thinking and feeling. Not the lies, words, and actions your mouth and body language make up.

When you don't believe your dream will ever come true. It means you havnt been looking. You lie to yourself or don't understand your feelings with your mind, but your heart will always tell the truth. And your eyes always tell the truth.

If you want something with all of your heart, you have to look for it. You have to use your eyes and search for your dream come true. Dreams come so slow and go so fast, but when they stay....it is the truth.

I had to bend my neck quite a bit to look up at him because he was practically half a foot taller than me, but it was all worth it when I saw his calm caramel-brown eyes again.

He is everything I could ever have dreamed of. He is honnest, caring, understanding, a dream come true, and so much more.

I know my love for him and his for me is not a lie that my teenage, girl, mind has made up. His eyes say it all.

When he talks I know it is what he means to say, because his eyes are the ones saying it and the message comes straight from his heart. I know he is embarrassed to say some of the things he does, but when they do come out, he means it.

I reached for his hands eager to feel them again...they were soft. But not as soft as his eyes.
