Sniffles resonated through the room as the credits played out on the TV screen silently.

"If you're gonna cry every single time , why do you keep watching it?"

Freya jumped in fright and turned to see Sara walking into the room, a smirk on her face. She wiped her tears, feeling silly like she always did.

Sara stood, hands on her hips with a knowing look on her face. This was a regular occurrence that she'd become so used to it.

Freya huffed, "It's one of the best episodes, I'm like addicted. Addicted to the pain.", she added smartly, referring to the Game of Thrones episode she'd just watched, infamously known as 'The Red Wedding.'

Sara chuckled in amusement and plopped down on the couch next to Freya. She cheekily grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it in her mouth.

Freya shook her head at her sister's antics. Sometimes it surprised her how childlike Sara could be. It was hard to believe she was 25 years old and about to get married in a few weeks.

Turning to face her, Sara spoke, "So have you spent your whole day like this? Watching reruns of Game of Thrones and crying?"

She gestured to Freya's attire, a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt, a complete opposite to Sara's business suit. She'd just returned from work where she was serving an internship. And no surprise that it was at Ford Industries, courtesy of her soon to be in-laws.

"Yeah pretty much."

Sara slipped her heels of, laying them down on the side of the couch as Freya placed the bowl of popcorn on the coffee table and switched the TV off.

"Frey?"

Freya raised an eyebrow at her sister's sudden change in tone, she sounded a lot more serious, "Yeah, what's up?"

Sara sighed, gaining Freya's full attention now.

"I know it's been a couple of days since you found out about the penthouse and I know we haven't spoken about it much after that but I guess what I'm trying to say is, are you okay with it?", there was apprehension in her voice.

This took Freya by surprise. She was sure she'd been able to hide how she truly felt about Sara moving out once she was married. And the truth was that she was absolutely terrified to be left alone in a house with just her father and Debra.

She knew Sara would have to leave after the wedding but it was like the reality of it was only dawning on Freya now.

Putting up the best smile she could muster, Freya gripped both of her sister's hands between hers, "I'll be fine Sara. Stop worrying about me. You're getting married to an amazing guy. That's all that matters."

Sara smiled brightly, "Yes but still-", she paused staring past Freya, "I know the circumstances under which you had to grow up. I also know that my mom isn't the easiest person to be around but Frey, if you ever feel like it's too much for you, you can always come to me. I'll be just a phone call away or come over and stay with us. I'm sure Nic wouldn't mind."

Freya appreciated the sentiment a lot but she knew that she was going to try and avoid bothering Sara as much as possible. Being newly weds, they deserved their time alone. Plus Freya knew that there was only so much Sara could do, she'd tried her best to protect Freya as much as possible throughout their childhood and even now.

But it was time for Freya to start thinking about what she was going to do with her life. Having been home schooled and not being allowed to go to college gave her limited options. But she'd set her mind to getting a job. But it was a little difficult considering she was under house arrest most of the time.
