I wrote this in my interpretation of your request. Hopefully it's adequate.

Note: I set this on Odessen (a planet located in the Unknown Regions, from the Star Wars MMO game "Star Wars: The Old Republic"). This planet is balanced in the Force, which adds on to the theme of this fic. (Plus, I thought it was a cool planet.) However, this fic will not detail any traces of the Eternal Alliance's former existence on this planet, though I'm sure there are still at least a few structures left from when they established their base on Odessen.

Also, frankly, I had never heard of a character known as Ania Solo until she was in the requests. So, I apologize beforehand if her representation feels wrong. Also, though I know Cade Skywalker's storyline, I must admit that I am not extremely familiar with the character.

Note: I write this under the assumption that Ania Solo and Cade Skywalker have never met. However, since Cade said "I've seen the family holos and the histories they drummed into me..." when he had visions of Mara Jade, I'm going to say that he knows the Skywalker family has ties to the Solo family through marriage, and thus concludes that they are related, even if only distantly. (I read some Wookiepedia, and it does say that in 140 ABY Sauk, who is one of Ania's companions, bought a used stabilizing coil from Cade Skywalker and his companions; however, that doesn't mean Cade and Ania have met.)

Deviations:

-Cade knows Anakin Skywalker is his ancestor but has never met/seen him before.

-Darth Vader is not associated with Anakin.

*************

"Kark!" Cade Skywalker muttered to himself, staring at the wreck that remained for his starship. He groaned in annoyance. The nearby air filled with smoke, making him choke. Hey, at least that scrap pile ain't the Mynock. He had taken another ship- his head had been pounding for the past days, urging him to come to this random planet in the middle of nowhere, but he had felt something was... off.

Cade's hand slipped towards the lightsaber dangling on his belt. Looking around, he saw nothing but lush, exotic plants. The whole place was filled green, with dashes of other vibrant tones here and there. He couldn't help but feel the Force buzzing on this planet- a balance of Force, neither light, nor dark.

And the Force was calling to him.

Kriff it. I have nothing better to do. He had lost contact with the crew of the Mynock the moment it crashed to the ground, and since his starship had been reduced to smoking scrap engulfed in a rage of flames, he would have to rely on himself for a while.

Lightsaber at the ready, he began heading towards the faraway cave. From this distant, it looked like any ordinary cave, etched into the side of a plantation-covered cliff. As he walked, he noticed small creatures scurrying in the background. One had even stopped and stared at the foreign man (or alien, depending on perspective... he was sure the indigenous species had never seen any outlander before)- Cade switched on his lightsaber, and the creature dashed away.

He saw no creature with enough intelligence to even have morality.

Small pebbles occasionally jut out from the swishing grass. The fresh soil crunched under his leather boots. The farther he was away from his useless lump of burning metal, the better the air became.

As he neared the cave, cutting down anything in his path (the planet looked deserted, save for the creatures that were so small and feeble that they would him no harm. No large fangs, no poisonous stinger, no nothin'.), he couldn't help but notice another column of smoke rising from... what the kriff is that? Another starship, also reduced to scrap- and recently. He could see some loose shape, which was perhaps another terribly unfortunate person... Great.
