"Ouch!" You cried out, furiously blowing air on your finger in attempt to cool it down. "Frickin pan!"
"G'day, Miss (Y/N)." You heard a familiar Australian accent behind you.
"Hey Blade. Hey Sword." You smiled at them.
"You alright?" Sword asked.
"Yeah." You hissed, glaring at the scorching hot pan filled with shiny, liquid chocolate. "Just burned my finger."
Blade chuckled as the two knights approached you. "What'd ya do this time?"
"I accidentally touched the pan. It just came out of the oven, too!" You whined with a frown.
"Oi! Is that chocolate?" Sword asked excitedly. "Looks bloody good!"
"I really hope so." You mumbled as you went over to the sink to run cold water over your fairly red fingertip. "This is so hard!"
"What is?" Blade asked.
"I'm trying to make candy of my own. I got bored and figured, 'why not?'" You dried your finger with a towel and walked back over to them.
"Makin' it for someone special, lass?" Sword snickered.
You lightly blushed as you realized what he intended. "Not really. I was actually making some for the two of you as well!"
"Aw, well that's sweet of ya." Blade patted your lower back, which was honestly as far up as he could reach. "Need help?"
"Actually, some help would be really great right now." You smiled. You put on the oven mitts and grabbed the warm pan of chocolate, pouring the gooey liquid into a glass bowl. You removed the mitts and grabbed a large tray with a ton of spheres resting on parchment paper. Each one had a tiny hole poked into the top of their outer shells.
You set the tray in front of Sword and Blade on the counter, saying, "These are a crunchy shell that I'm trying. They're made of a cookie-like substance, so they're crisp! It's almost like a wafer."
"They're strange." Sword said as he leaned in closer to examine them. "Why, this one's blue!"
"They're all different colored!" You smiled. "That's the magic of food coloring, my friends!" You placed the bowl of liquid chocolate off the side of the tray and pointed at it. "Now you need to be careful with this! You need to slowly get the liquid chocolate into that tiny hole."
"Why?" They asked in unison.
"It's a filling! It just gives it a better taste, I guess!" You winked. "But don't overfill them! I really don't want chocolate to get on the outside!"
"Okay, Miss!" Sword smiled. "We can handle this!"
"I trust you two. I'll be back in a few minutes." You grabbed your satchel and slung it over your shoulder. "I gotta run into Cappy Town to pick up a few ingredients, okay?"
The two nodded and quickly, yet cautiously, got to work. "Thanks a bunch! When you're done, put everything in the fridge, including the chocolate bowl!" You smiled with a small wave as you left the castle's kitchen. As you entered the corridors, you pulled out a small, brightly-colored gun. No, it wasn't lethal or anything. It was simply a paintball gun.
King Dedede and Escargoon didn't exactly like you. Well, to put it in better terms, they didn't exactly tolerate you. They got really angry when they saw you walking around in the castle, but you weren't going to let them stop you from seeing your trio of knights. Therefore, you needed a weapon to momentarily stop them or the Waddle Dees for a few moments when necessary.
