~~~~~~~~~~~~Hello lovelies,
I know I should focus on making 'Not So Perfect' perfect, but my thoughts are messed up about it so I have taken a break and decided to present a short story to you all as a compensation for my lazy attitude so here it is hope you like it and present your views.
And btw the song mentioned above is translated in the video itself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Nope. No. Non. Nahiiiiiiii......
NO. It's not a word but an expression which is pronounced or spelled almost same in every single language on the earth. And Ofcourse, has the same meaning whether said in informal chats or in English or in French or in Hindi. (Actually these are the only languages I know so you know!). Any way, where I was... Oh yeah, I was rambling NO's in every single language I know because it's the only expression coming in my mind after what my parents did. So let me do the honour (Note the heavy sarcasm) and tell you what happened (obviously in short because I know this is a short story) - -
My Lovely Parents decided that I have reached my maturity level (which they know I haven't) so I should become responsible and obviously from ''society' s" pressure they decided that........
I...
Should....
See....
A....
FREAKING BOY!!!!!
I mean COME ON, I am 27, having an wonderful job of my wish at a wonderful firm, with a great family (before they did the blast about marriage), having a cute niece of my own and having a wonderful life (because I am *wink *wink Single) and had no problems until this one arrived at the dining table with my favourite sweets thinking that I will agree for marriage by placing them in front of me.
So now, currently I am pacing in my BFF's room who also happens to be my SIL muttering a lot of curses under my breath (so that the baby will not listen... I know I am such a great aunt and a great person but don't know why god is punishing me😦) .
"Did she sleep? " I grumbled.
"Yeah she did. And please stop pacing here and there. " Neha told me
" Why the hell should I ??? Tomorrow a total stranger is coming to see me and I have to decide whether to spend my rest of my life with him who I don't even know but also don't know whether he is... (looking at my sleeping niece)... good in... you know" I told her while pacing.
"Who told you to say yes to the 'stranger whose name is 'Aman' ' the minute you see him. Just meet him, converse with him like you do with your... (looking at her baby)... guy friends " Neha told her" You know I don't converse with my 'guy friends' " I told her by air quoting.
" That's I know, but don't change the topic and don't you dare to do... that with him, Amara. Anyways, just talk to him and if you like his ideas or opinions then tell mom and dad you both want to know each other. If you not like his ideas or opinions then directly say NO to his face. Simple.''
She told while eating ice-cream and making me solve the problem of tomorrow and making me hungry for the ice-cream but I learnt my lesson that you should never ever dare to steal her ice-cream.
"Okay. Thanks. But I really need something to distract me from this siyappa (trouble/problem) " I told her by making peace sign. She nodded her head and told me that she will take care here if something happens.
