The constant beeping woke me up from my deep slumber. I checked my phone and widened my eyes on seeing the time and the no. of missed calls

9:02 am, 10 missed calls

I quickly get up from the bed and started wearing my dress. I thanked god that it was not torn or Neha would had my head. I quickly called her and removed my phone from my....

"Where the hell are you Amara?!? " she whispered yelled and I winced.

" Don't worry I just.... (looking at the boy on bed) lost the track of time but don't worry I am coming as fast as possible. Just prepare ladder on your back window ready. "I told her

" You better come fast or our (mostly mine) secrets will blown away."she hung up.

Okay... I muttered to the phone and searched for my heels. Where are they.... Here they are hiding under the nightstand. I quickly put them and take my purse out. As I was leaving, I don't know why I glanced at him and decided not to leave like I usually do and quickly scribbled a note for him and placed on the the night stand and quickly left the penthouse without glancing back at him.

**Time skip**(when she reaches her home)

"You're having a glow on your face which means.... You did the deed!!!"Neha yelled.

" Could you be any louder and yes I did it but don't ask more questions I just want a good shower and 'dress up'  for the majesty" I bowed a little making my cut niece giggle.

"Okay, I am only going to ask an emotional question" Neha told.

She presented her one finger from both hands facing opposite to each other and started increasing the distance between them.... (A/n: Hope you know where I've taken this scene from-

"Shut up! Your daughter is in this room!! Also I'm not going to answer that question!" I said it and went to my room with a beetroot face.

I quickly showered and went to my walk in closet. I started searching to wear something traditional.

Neha came to my room and helped me with the makeup. I saw her opening and closing her mouth like a fish ; a habit of hers when she wants to ask a question in a more gentle way.

"Don't you dare ask me that question again! "I warned her.

" Okay I won't ask that but how was it and you can answer this question " she asked.

" It was...." the best night I ever had ".... okay" I told her.

She gave me puzzled look but didn't ask anything and continued brushing my hair. When she was done, she rolled my chair in her direction and sit in front of me on the bed.

"I know it's not easy for you to start a relationship with what happened but at least give the boy a chance. You might be wondering why I am praising a stranger you're about to meet but trust me I know him. He works with your brother and I've met him a couple of times. He's is not like him. In fact he is a lot like you. He is also not ready for a relationship but might have been forced by his parents to see you but he respects woman. It's not easy to forget the past and move on, but being stuck in the past is also not good so think wisely before you decide" she patted my hair and left the room.

My thoughts went to the past...

When I was college, I was in relationship with Zafar for about 2 years. For our two and half anniversary, I decided to surprise him but like all cliché stories, I found him cheating on me. Although you may thought what is the big deal, heck even when I read this stories I also used to think the same. But when you experience it, you realise how hurtful it is. So, now you know that ever since that I have never dated. Sure I had flings, but most of them lasted a month max. So suddenly jumping into a relationship like marriage is a big deal for me. But after listening to her words, I realised maybe I should...

"Amara, come it's time"my sweet mother told me in not so sweet voice because of my yesterday's drama.
