The Falls

Bella POV

It had been three days since Klaus had told us about the grimore, and things had been very complicated since then; Damon and Bonnie did not believe what Klaus had said claiming that he just wanted them on their side, Elena did not believe Klaus either but did believe it when Elijah told her, they had been spending loads of time together, Klaus had tried to dagger Rebekah, Jacob tried to protect her, but in the end I was the one who had stopped him.

At present I was going to the Falls of Mystic Falls to clear my head. Klaus and I hadn't had time to talk about the kiss, he had said that we let our feelings flow freely, but I still wasn't sure about my feelings for Edward.

I came to the foot of the hill and started to hike upwards, with what Elena had told me, this hike was going to take a day.What if Klaus is just using me?

The thought had entered my mind numerous times after he had told us all about the grimore.While I was thinking of all this my leg got caught in something and I felt myself falling, I closed my eyes waiting for the impact that never came.

Someone had caught me and my heart raced because I thought it was Klaus, it wouldn't be the first time. I opened my eyes expecting his blue eyes but found myself staring into red eyes of a completely unknown person.

Klaus POV

I should not have stopped when Bella asked me not to dagger Rebekah, it's just that that girl arises feelings in me no other woman or girl has been able to.

But there was one, one who had very close to arising feelings out of me that Bella could. I don't think I'd ever be able to forget her, not that I was going to try, but she had shattered me aand my heart.

She was just pretending to be in love with me after all that I had done for her. I wonder if Bella is doing the same to me but I quickly banish the thought out of my head.

"Thinking about her". It wasn't a question but a statement. Before I even looked up I knew it was Elijah who had spoke. How did he even know I was thinking about her?

"Whatever makes you think I'm thinking about Rachel?"

"I never even said her name, for all you know I could be talking about Bella". He got me there.

"But you weren't".

"No, I wasn't. Niklaus, there's no point in thinking about her especially now that you have Bella".

"I don't have her, she isn't mine".

"But you want her to be".

"How do you know that? Plus, I'm sure she's still in love with that walking disco ball."

"She may still be in love with him, but she definately has feelings for you".

"And how exactly do you know that?

""Elena told me".

"Of course she did" I said with an all-knowing smirk "why aren't you with her right now anyway? Don't you spend all your time with her nowadays?"

"Rebakah told you".

"With loathing".

"Well, I've been helping her to keep her thurst in control and teaching her to hunt".

"Yes, that is all that is going on right?" I asked rhetorically.Seems like that there was no point in asking as Elijah left immediately after me asking this.Well this was boring so I decided to go somewhere to get rid of this boredoom.

Jacob POV

Rebekah had her head on my shoulder. When I had imprinted on her I hadn't known I would be able to fall in love with her this easyly. Everyone always thought that she didn't have any feelings but considering the fact that her brother was Klaus I don't think anyone could blame her.

"Are you okay, you've been quiet for a while now?" I asked Rebekah who hadn't said a word since we had entered the cave.

"No, I'm not. I can't believe Nik. He would dagger his sister without a second thought but some girl tells him to not do it, then he just stops?"

"So you're angry at him for not daggering you?" I ask.

"No, I'm angry because he would listen to a girl he met a week ago, but not his sister who has been by his side for a thousand years?"

"I don't get it, Bella helped you".

"Well I don't need her help". By now we had both stopped walking and were heading for quite a heated arguement.

"I don't get it, why don't you like her?"

"Because she's a whiny child just like Elena".

"Look I don't agree with you, infact I think you are jealous of her".

"I'm not jealous of that whiny little human". She shouted, she looked appaled at the mention of the word jealous.

"Well I think you are, inf-". I stopped hearing something. "Did you hear it?"

"Yes".

We both stopped and listened to the movement, heavy footfalls, it was probably just some animal, but it wasn't just one, there were many. But before I could contemplete who they were, I saw them. Stepping out in tbe clearing, was a pack of large wolves.The Quillete pack.
