Two Different Lives, Same Problem

Part Five : Dominique

The next morning dominique wakes up and gets ready to go to class.

She arrives at class and takes a seat and waits for class to start. Right when class is about start Craig walks up and takes a seat by her.

she looks at him and begins to blush. He just smiles…. and turns his attention back on the lecture.

Professor: “alright class it’s time to start the presentations, Craig and Dominique would you both like to start out today?”

Dominique looks at Craig he shrugs his shoulders and they get up and present their project. ..

when class finally is over Craig approaches Dominque.

” So, how do you think we did on the project? I was kind of nervous ya know?”

Dominique-” I think we did great. & you nervous? no never! you don’t seem like the type. You seems as though you have so much confidence”

Craig-” Yes, I was nervous … I shouldn’t be though when I was younger in this group called mi- …”

as he was about finish dominiques phone goes of playing an old MB song and Craigs smiles..

Dominique- ” oh sorry to cut you off. But I need to get this call. One moment please..” she said smiling walking off to the side”

” Asia? whats wrong girl? ……”

she stays on the phone for a while trying to help her best friend out with her problems…

Craig ends up leaving because he has to get to his next class….

As Dominque was done talking she turns around to find him gone .

” ugh, he just left? great, ” she says with hurt in her voice…..

she is back at her dorm just relaxing for the little break that she has… and she recieves a text…

C- “hey sorry for walking out on you like that, I had to rush to get to my next class :( “

D- ” it’s alright I guess.. lol”

C- ” Do you forgive me?”

D- ” ……”

C- ” wait what?”

D- ” oh my goodness yes lol”

C- ” Oh okay good. lol umm are you busy right now?”

D-” umm no just relaxing”

C-” well would you like to get some ice cream with me and we can get to know each other a little better?”

D- ” umm sure :) “

C- ” alright I will pick you up in like 10 minutes”

…… end of text conversation …..

She goes and puts on some jeans and a t-shirt and puts her hair a cute bun and applys some lip gloss. Then she leaves and right when she walks out he sitting there looking as beautiful as ever with a great big smile.

Craig -” you ready? “

Dominique- ” Yes ” she said as she smiled

so they begin walking to the ice cream place and are talking as they are walking.. then they arrive.

Craig -” what kind of ice cream would you like “

Dominique- ” umm cookies n creme please”

Craig - ” okay sounds good, We will have two cups of double scoopt cookies n creme please”

they sit down and begin to talk

Dominique - ” so.. you never finished what you were saying when we were class?”

Craig- ” well I was talking you know the group I was in, and I how I had so much confidence..”

Dominique- ” well I still think you have a lot of confidence even if you don’t see it. ” she said with a smile.

Craig- ” thank you, you know you are a very sweet person. why don’t you have a boyfriend yet?”

Dominique- ” well because I haven’t found someone that I truly connected with.” and her smile began to fade thinking back to her relationship with Erik….

Craig- ” I see, well if it makes you feel better I haven’t had a girlfriend since I was like 12 .” he said while laughin…

Dominique-” why is that?”

Craig - ” because being in the group caused me to leave my life behind….”

Dominique- ” you sure talk about this ” group” a lot? what was the name of your group? ” she said taking a huge bite of her ice cream

Craig- ” well I really didn’t want to tell you… but My group Was Called Mindless Behavior… and my name in the group was Prodigy… ” he said sounding nervous

………………………………………………. what is her reaction going to be? is she going to be mad because he waited a while to tell her, or she going to be super excited because she is talking to the one she absolutely loved??
