Evie and the other VKs had just had a talk in the grass. They were all reminded that they would always be the kids from the Isle, and there was nothing they could do to change that. Evie had tried to forget it, but she realized it was better to embrace it as it made her the person she is today.

Once Evie returned to her and Mal's dorm, she changed into a more Auradon-like outfit. She cleaned herself up as she began putting finishing touches on all the cotillion dresses she had to deliver. However, she could not stop thinking about Quinn. She had left Quinn when she was injured and hurting. Evie grimaced as she thought about that nasty cut on Quinn's forearm. She then remembered the scars and bruises that were all over her body. Even though Quinn tried to hide it, Evie knew their mother had been physically abusing her. The Evil Queen had verbally and mentally abused Quinn in the past; it was no surprise that she began getting physical.

It was then that Evie walked over to the bag she brought to the Isle. She opened it and took out the necklace. She looked at it for awhile. It had only been a couple hours, and Evie was missing her sister more right now than she had within the last six months. She looked up to the ceiling with tears in her eyes. "You can find me in the space between," she whispered as she held the necklace close to her heart. She quickly wiped the tears away from her face as she continued on the dresses.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Come in," Evie said with a peppy voice.

"I have a scout badge in s'mores," the voice said as it entered the room. Evie was very confused by that remark. She turned around to be facing Doug: her boyfriend. "How could you go camping without me?"

"What?" Evie asked in confusion.

"Are you seeing someone else?" Doug asked frantically. "Are you?"

"No," Evie replied as she wondered why Doug would even think something like that. Doug was just too sweet to resort to something like that.

"Is it Happy's son?" Doug asked as he referred to his cousin. "Because let me tell you, he is not as happy as his dad. Kind of a dark streak in fact."

It was then that it hit Evie: Jay and Carlos must have had to make up a lie to tell Doug because they didn't want anyone knowing they were on the Isle of the Lost. Evie knew Doug had many insecurities, and he must have thought that Evie left because he wasn't good enough for her. "Doug," Evie began. "Ben was captured on the Isle. We rescued Ben and saved Auradon."

"So you're not seeing Happy's son or anyone else?"

Evie held out her hands to Doug. He then joined hands with her. Evie then leaned in and kissed him on the cheek; she just had to let him know that he was the man she was in love with. "Don't be dopey." Doug then gave her a light smile. "Besides, we have dresses to deliver. It is Cotillion Day after all." Evie walked over to her desk where her bag was placed. She then picked up one of the jewelry pieces she got from Dizzy. "And you know what?" she began. "I was lucky enough to be given a chance, and now I need to give someone else a chance too."

"My Uncle Bashful used to say that," Doug said as he brushed his hand over Evie's shoulder.

"Did he?" Evie jokingly asked.

"Yeah," Doug replied. "But really quietly."

Evie giggled. "Let's do this," she said as her and Doug pushed the rack of dresses out of the dorm room.

After dropping of all of the cotillion dresses, and Chad Charming's cape, Doug and Evie walked hand-in-hand to Evie's dorm. "So," Doug began. "What was it like being back on the Isle?"

Evie looked Doug in the eyes. "W-Well," she began. "It was really weird being back there after six months."

"How did Ben get captured?"
