"Faye I'm over here!!!" "Hey Oliver!!! Oh my goodness!!! I'm so happy you wanted to hangout, it's been like, forever!!!! I've missed you a lot." "Yea I've missed you a lot too! So how have you been?!" "I've been pretty great! Well I mean...other then breaking up with Andrew... I'm still sad about that of course." "What happened with Andrew ?" "Oh...did he not tell you? I broke up with him Oliver..." "well I mean yea he told me you broke up with him, but he doesn't know why and so therefore neither do I. So, what happened?" "I just...I don't know...my feelings for him just kinda faded over time. It's like all we do is sit there in complete silence. We don't talk as much either, I just started losing feelings I guess." "I'm sorry Faye." "Yea me too..." "you know he miss you a lot. He's been so torn without you; he really loves you a lot" "I know. It's just that i don't feel the same way I used to." "Don't you miss all the good times though?" "I mean yea, but I guess I don't exactly fully remember them because of how much we have drifted; they are like distant memories now." "What about when you guys where at my house and I left to go get some food, when I came back you guys where in the guest room having a pillow fight"
The conversation went on for a couple hours. Oliver just kept bringing up past memories in an attempt to get her to miss the good times so much that she would come back. By the end of the night when they both went home. I didn't have much faith in the entire scenario, but Oliver was right because the next day Faye texted me and said 'hey' and then we talked for a couple hours about old times until we fell asleep.
The next morning when I woke up Oliver was at my house ready to pick me up for school as always. We drove to school and I told him about Faye and I talking. "See man! I told you so! I told you I could help! You should have more faith in me" Oliver laughed. "Yea ok so you where right, but you only got her to text me, not be with me again" I said jokingly as I grabbed out my phone to see if Faye had texted back. When we arrived at school we went to the library like we always do and that was when she texted me. "Hey, I really missed talking to you. Wanna hangout sometime?" I started smiling so big at this that Oliver said I looked like the Cheshire Cat. "Dude why such he big smile? You look like the Cheshire Cat. Did Faye text you?" He said dragging out Faye's name and laughing. "Yea actually, she asked if I wanted to hangout and that she missed talking to me, see." I showed him the text and he slapped my arm telling me good job. The bell rang and we went to class; all day all I could think about was Faye and hanging out with her. We decided to go to the park after school, Oliver was happy about that because that gave him more time to study instead of having to drive me home. I have a car, but I need to fix it up before I can drive it, so Oliver drives me to school and home everyday and we hangout for a bit then he goes home and studies.
"Hey" I said to Faye when I saw her show up to the park. "Hey Andrew! How was school?" Faye asked walking over to the swings where I was sitting and she sat down on the swing on my left side. She casually tossed her phone to the side of her swing. "It was good! Yours?" "It was ok, but it's better now that you're here." I said smiling, not really thinking about what I had just said. "Awe that's so sweet!!!" She squealed and got up then hugged me which caught me off guard and we ended up falling off of the swing and she landed on top of me. We laughed then after a quick minute the laughter stopped and we just sat there staring into each others eyes; for a minute I forgot we broke up. Faye must've got uncomfortable because she quickly stumbled up off of me, I wanted to pull her back and tell her to stay, that I wanted to lay there just a little longer, but she was already running away from the park heading back home. I sighed and got up then I realized her phone was still sitting where she had left it on the side of the side of the swing; I grabbed it and went home to take a shower. I'll just take it to her house later after I eat dinner.
