Shouts POV:

At the end of class I gathered my things together and hurried out of the room before Ricky couldn't catch up to me. But as I'm hurrying down the hallway, I can faintly hear the name calling over my music "emo...goth freak...Wrist slitter...slut...whore...worthless...ugly...useless..." Ughh, don't they ever get tired of that?

I decide to skip my next class right before lunch, who needs history anyways. As I make my way to the back of the school I pull out my pack of cigarettes. Putting one inbetween my lips and lighting it. As the chemicals start to take over my body I feel relief wash over me... That is until someone taps my shoulder and I jump away screaming. The boy stands there slightly shocked by my reaction and slowly speaks "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you... I was just going to ask if I could borrow one of your sticks, I forgot mine at home" I look him up and down, black combat boots, ripped black skinnies, a slip knot tank top, leather jacket, long black hair with a purple streak, and .... Red eyes? He seems like he doesn't want to hurt me so I hand out my carton of cigs to him and he takes one out offering a thanks in return. We sit in a comfortable silence before he speaks again"The names Coe, Jake Coe." I start laughing at his poor James Bond impression and pull out a piece of paper writing my name on it and handing it to him before I get up and walk back into school. I don't want to be subject anymore to his potential friendship.
