Chapter 5

Bailey P.O.V
Bailey: I still can't believe how you manage to get me to put out my ears and tail.
Laurence: It took the entire time walking here to get you to do this! And it's an hour to get here on foot!
Bailey: You owe me a Caramel apple after we're done shopping.
Laurence: Fine......But every time I'm with you, you have to keep your ears and tail out.
Bailey: Ugh.....I'll think about it.
Laurence showed me were the pet stuff was and we started to look through everything. And when I mean everything I mean everything. Laurence had to leave me for a few minutes because he had to use the bathroom, witch I didn't know they hade a bathroom in this store. I was reaching for a litter box when I felt two hands on my waist, at first I thought it was Travis but Travis would have said a pick up line by now. I got off my tip-toes and turned around to face the person.
???:Whats a little kitty like you doing here all by yourself?
Bailey: I'm not alone, and will you let go of me please.
???: I mean I can but, I don't want too.
He said with a wink. I raised my hand to slap him but I heard Laurence walking towards us
Laurence: You heard her Gene, let her go.
Gene: Ah Why isn't it Laurence, how you been buddy?
Laurence: Let her go Gene......
Gene: Alright Alright no need to get aggressive.
When he let go of me I hid behind Laurence because I had a very bad feeling about this person......he seems shady.
Gene: Wow Laurence did you find yourself a mate finally?
Laurence: She isn't my girlfriend she's just my friend.
Gene: Oh so she is up for grabs.
Bailey: In your dreams.
Laurence: Bailey do you have everything you need for your pets?
Bailey: Yes.
Laurence: Ok, sorry to cut this short Gene but we need to get going.
Gene: Aww.... well I'll be waiting for are next meeting. Hopefully your all by yourself.
After that he turned around and left. Laurence was staring at him while he was walking away, he picked up the basket with all the stuff I picked out for my Animals, and started to walk away while pulling me by the hand.
I don't no why I'm blushing from this. I didn't say anything while he was pulling me because he seemed angry. The walk home was quiet and dark........very dark. I started to feel sleepy while walking, I didn't even notice that I was starting to lean towards Laurence. Who at the time was looking down at me. I did notice that, my head ended up leaning against his shoulder.
Laurence: Hey you ok?
Bailey: Hm.....yeah I'm fine, I just forgot to eat lunch and breakfast.
Laurence: Hey if you give me your key I can unlock your door.
Bailey: Ok........oh no.
Laurence: What?
Bailey: I don't have my key.
Laurence: Are one of your windows open?
Bailey: My bed room window is open.
Laurence: You can crawl through it.
Bailey: Oh! Good thinking Laurence.
Laurence: It wasn't much, but you're welcome.
Laurence P.O.V
We walked to the side of her house and I helped her into her room. We both said are good byes and on we went, I looked back one more time for some reason? I saw Bailey on her bed with her pets cuddling up against her.
Laurence: Man I wanna cuddle with her......Wait what!?! No Laurence you don't like her that way, you don't even know her that well man, so it's too early for me to have a crush on her......I think.
The next day.
I woke up around nine by my phone going off, I picked it up from my side table and answered it.
Laurence: Hello?
Bailey: Hey do you want to get some coffee with me?
Laurence: Sure I'll be over in a few minutes.
Bailey: Cool see you soon.
She ended the call and I got up to get dressed. I put on some blue jeans a dark green shirt and a dark gray zip up sweatshirt.
I left without Travis or Dante knowing but I told Garroth, I think I may regret that later on, but oh well. I was close to Bailey's door when someone sprayed silly string at me, I looked up and saw Bailey on her roof with a silly string can in her hand.
Bailey: I got you! Heheh
She had an evil laugh as she was jumping off the roof.......Wait jumping off the roof!
Laurence: Why did you jump off the roof!?!
Bailey: Because that's the only way to get down, I jump down from things that have the same hight as this.
Laurence: I'm just glad your not Hurt.
Bailey: ........Well do you want to get coffee or what.
Laurence: Let's get some coffee!
At the coffee place
Bailey: Can I get a medium sized black coffee to go please.
The guy taking her order looked shocked at what she wanted.
Laurence: Can I get a medium Carmel cappuccino please.
(Is a Carmel cappuccino a real thing or am I making things up right now?)
After we got are coffee, we sat next to the big window.
Laurence: So why did you spray me with silly string?
Bailey: Oh that, I used to spray my brother with it every so often at my moms house.
Laurence: Well I feel sorry for him if he has to deal with that every day.......it's so hard to get it out of your hair!
Bailey: Heheh, I know I "try" not to get it in people's hair, it just happens.
Laurence: Hey Bailey?
Bailey: Yeah?
Laurence: Garroth was wondering if you wanted to come ice skating with us......well me, Garroth, Dante, and Travis.
Bailey: I'll gladly join you guys! I love ice skating.
Laurence: Really?
Bailey:Yeah! Ever since I watched Yuri on ice, I'm kinda obsessed about it.
Laurence: Cool, we're going on the twenty first, Garroth got us booked so we'll be the only ones there.
Bailey: That sounds awesome!...... so you wanna go hang out at the park?
Laurence: I would love to M'lady.
Bailey: (giggles) Very well then, off we go to the adventures walk upon us.
