Yoongi sighed to himself. He was outside, hot, hungry, wishing he was alone. However, Jimin was still there. His plan had backfired, because any time he strafed to the side or tried to lag behind, Jimin would reach for his hand or arm and try to pull him back.
Which ended up in Yoongi literally getting no where that didn't include Jimin's soft high pitched voice. The younger made it clear that he intended on getting something done that evening, which is why he dug into Yoongi's pockets and confiscated his phone and keys before they even left the house, just so he wouldn't run away.
"I'm doing this to help you, not hurt you Yoongi. You gotta understand." Jimin held Yoongi's arm carefully and looked up at him.
"Get your sausage fingers off of me." Yoongi shrugged his hand off, making Jimin sigh.
"I'm gonna have to go out and get more stickers soon, we're already halfway through the pack and I just got them today."
The two walked to a park bench and Jimin sat down, patting the space beside him and telling him to sit too.
"No." Yoongi stuffed his hands in his pockets and continued walking. Jimin hopped up and jogged after him, chuckling and pulling him back. He manually seated him on the bench before sitting next to him.
"Let's do an exercise." Jimin suggested. Yoongi glared over at him and scowled.
"You must be crazy if you think I'm doing tha-"
"Shh, just sit and enjoy the day." Jimin closed his eyes and took quiet even breaths. Yoongi sighed and crossed his arms. He wasn't enjoying shit.
Every couple seconds he could feel the bite of a mosquito on the back of his neck and the heat of the sun was baking his body alive. But according to Jimin, who was in a white shirt and shorts, it was a good day.
Yoongi stood up and started back towards his house, not saying anything to Jimin in hopes that he wouldn't follow. Then he felt a grip on his wrist, holding him back.
"Where are you going?" Jimin asked softly.
"Somewhere that you're not, it's too hot out here." He yanked his arm away, continuing to walk.
"I know a better solution." Jimin smiled and took his wrist again, this time pulling him the other way. Yoongi groaned but followed behind him nonetheless.
The two arrived at an ice cream truck that was parked along the outskirts of the park. It was surrounded by small families and children alone.
Jimin noticed a small child crying over a little white melting glob on the ground while staring at an empty cone. He was quick to give the ice cream man $2 for a replacement and put it before the sad young boy. He dropped the fluffy, brown bunny toy that was drooping on the ground behind him to happily grab the new cone, dropping the old cone as well.
"Thank you mister!" The young boy shouted up at him with a big bunny like smile. Jimin smiled and gave the kid a small pat on the head before he ran off, presumably to his parents. Jimin turned around to look for an ice cream that he'd like that evening, not catching on that Yoongi had been watching the whole thing.
The elder bent down to pick up the small bunny toy, brushing it off and stuffing it in his jacket pocket.
