"Yoongi-ah!" Jimin shouted from the kitchen, standing in front of the chart with a sticker stuck to his fingers. Yoongi got up from the couch to go see the problem.
"What?" He stood at the doorway.
"Would you like to do the honors?" Jimin wiggled his eyebrows at him, signaling the sticker on his finger.
"Of what? Changing my locks?" He trudged over, standing behind him and looking over the horrid chart.
"I saw what you did today Yoongi." Jimin smiled at him proudly. "When you gave that kid his toy back." Yoongi was shocked, since he made sure to do it when Jimin wasn't looking, because he knew he'd make a big deal out of it.
"Ji-"
"You don't need to say anything." Jimin grabbed Yoongi's hand and put the sticker on his pointer finger. "I just want you to be the one to put the first sticker on the Good Yoongi side." His small finger pointed to the empty space.
Yoongi almost let out a chuckle. He got off the couch for this? "Jimin, this is-"
"You'll understand the reason behind the chart if you're the one to reward yourself." Jimin spoke softly to him.
"Fine, whatever." He pushed his finger towards the paper, sticking the small shiny circle onto the empty side of the paper. "Now I'm going to sleep, don't bother me." He left the younger for the stairs.
"I'm proud of you Yoongi!" Jimin chuckled after him. Not saying that heat rose to Yoongi's face and he grew a shade pinker but that's exactly what happened. He scurried into his bedroom and closed the door behind him.
That night, Jimin stayed up late texting Jin about the big news. Jin almost couldn't believe it, Yoongi had actually been nice for the first time in his life. He'd actually done something to benefit someone instead just throwing harsh words at them. And Jimin expressed how proud he was in the happiest way possible.
He had honestly felt a connection to Yoongi. He was hired with a job to do, and yeah, he's still doing the job. But he isn't trying to help Yoongi just to get paid anymore, he wanted to help him out of the kindness of his heart now. And he had a lot of kindness in his heart.
The next morning, Yoongi had been greeted with breakfast again. Something that Jimin was happy with doing. He was dressed in a short sleeve white shirt today and black shorts with a jean jacket. He had no reason to dress up, he just kinda..felt like it.
Yoongi trudged down the stairs, face still coated with sleep yet nose twitching with curiosity and stomach growling with hunger.
"Good morning Yoongi!" Jimin happily cheered, plating the food.
"Oh y-yeah. Morning." Yoongi nodded and sat down at the table, a small smile appearing only when he looked away.
He looked over at the chart which he could see from where he was sitting, the small colorful sticker making a smile twitch itself onto his face. The accomplishment did give him a sense of satisfaction. He felt to need to see more stickers under the green banner, ignoring the fact that his behavior would improve if he did so. He just wanted the stickers.
