Chapter 2

"Cyrus" Andrea yelled across the gym,her sparkling phone raised high capturing the moment .Cyrus Payne was a star and she wanted the rest of the world to see that her dashing boyfriend was more than talented .Cyrus turned ,tackled and shot almost every ten seconds .The Jaguar's basketball team was lucky,Andrea Grey always said.

Eden Àlvarez popped in totally out of nowhere ,taking possession of the ball like he was born to do it .Well actually he was that's why he was the ultimate star and captain of the team .Everybody loved him ,everybody thought he was a sweet bundle of talent, all except the schools second power couple who thought he should be warming the bench until Cyrus was exhausted but even they couldn't deny how good Eden was at what he does.

Andrea rolled her eyes away and brought her video to an abrupt end .Eden as always had succeeded in stealing away Cyrus's fantastic spotlight. "I don't get it " Andrea exclaimed turning to Sue,a beautiful Asian transfer student who had somehow beat a good number of people and succeeded the position she held at Valore

"What does everybody see in him .He is as dry as a creeper" Andrea said feeling a gag .She stared at Eden ,her eyes looking him over maliciously under very thick false lashes.

Sue Shrugged, she was busy cooking up some lyrics for a new smashing song ."You can't deny it ,he's hot and super talented plain and simple ".Andrea scowled. He was anything but hot to her and sometimes she wondered why her best friend even went out with him. Ashley was blind she Andrea concluded every time.

" Even Ashley Snow went out with him .He's got a lotta game"Sue said again tapping her signature boots on the gym floor .She was coming up with something good Andrea knew but didn't she always .

"Speaking of Ashley..."Andrea sighed "I'm late for cheer practice" she shrieked. She gathered her belongings hurriedly but carefully,blew a quick kiss to Cyrus and waving sue good bye, ran out of the gym .But surely they couldn't be mad at her,even if they did they wouldn't dare show it.

The pitch was busy, very busy .The soccer team was getting prepped for their big game on game on Thursday afternoon. Seemed like there was some sports fiesta every other day .But nobody found it difficult like the cheerleaders, they had to be there for each an everyone of the games .

"Hey" Pablo Fernandez yelled across the lawn,jogging over to Andrea who now stood dazzling in her tiny cheer uniforms .A small burgundy half top and a skirt (that was barely a skirt)to match with shimmering gold lines edged by the side .The word Jaguars was printed in the same bright gold over the half top.

"Hey there sweaty boy"Andrea smiled ,taking a step back. Pablo was in the soccer team and was doing rounds of endless practice since last week.

"Cut me some Slack "we just finished. These newbies are a horrible wreck" he sighed

"I'm late for cheer practice, what's up?Andrea said moving away, slowly this time .Just wandering if You've seen Barbara. Haven't seen her all day " Pablo said keenly .He knew she was mad at him .He hadn't spent time with his girl for two now because football practice .Then she asked him if he was in a relationship with her or his game .She didn't even stay for an answer.

"Yeah she is in the music room or something with Louis Andrea admitted, she knew Pablo hated it ,then suddenly a wicked idea popped into her devious mind ."they are pretty close if you ask me ,spending hours together, exchanging glances ,beats me" Andrea said feigning innocence batting her lashes.

Pablo stopped, working something up in his head .his expression changed from hurt to disappointment then downright anger."Alright ,..sure....whatever "he mumbled " Thanks for the tip" he called jogging away.

"The pleasure was all mine " she called back "you have no idea how".She whispered to herself .
