He remembered when he was going to ask if you could hang out together until Jackson came over and ruined everything.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Bobby said.
"Yeah?" you asked. He took a step forward to get a little closer to you.
"If you have time, do you want to-"
"Hey, (Y/N)!" He heard Jackson call. You turned your head away from him and smiled when you saw Jackson running over to you.
"(Y/N), do you want to go on a date with me to an amusement park today?" He asked suddenly.
"Really? Gosh, that would be so great, Jackson!" You said. Bobby just stared with his mouth open at you two.

"Let's go then, come on!" He said.
"Ok, bye, Bobby!" You said as you grabbed Jackson's hand and ran far away with him. He just stared at you and didn't say anything. He only felt nothing but sheer embarrassment. He knew it was stupid of him to ever think it would be possible to be with you, but you didn't have to draw the line like that. It sucked because the person left behind always gets embarrassed.

He had to say that he had never felt as friend-zoned as he did that day in his entire life. What did you see in Jackson that he didn't have? He tried his best to be there for you every time, but competing with Jackson was too hard. God, why did he love you so much? Why did he have to love you so much? He hated how pretty you were because he always had to contemplate about it every night after he saw your face, whether it was in person or just a picture. He was shaking because of his cries and he felt as if a wave of rejection washed over him.

Love was definitely a sin, and you were his prison. He was trapped in his own feelings for you, and he had no idea how to get out, nor did he want to leave. He tried countless times to deceive his own heart, telling it that he didn't love you, but because of you he always got mixed up and it drove him crazy. You were too beautiful for him and to have you would make him the luckiest man on Earth, but he couldn't be the luckiest man on Earth if you were going to be best friends in the end. He ended up falling asleep on the couch due to exhaustion from crying so much, and indeed, the dream he had of you was a beautiful, heartbreaking one.

The world was so cruel to him because even in his dream, you went to him for comfort when you were bothered by an internal conflict you were having. He was okay with helping you, but you still called him your best friend. In the morning, he woke up crying.
