Chapter Four

CHAPTER FOUR

     I left to my room and laid there for a bit. A knock at the door. I sighed.  "Come on in." I said, playing with Catbug. He purred as I rubbed his belly. Chris walked in. "Want to come swimming with us?" He asked. He was wearing a swimsuit and a towel around his neck. "Nah. I'll get dirty." I said, letting the topic of Danny cross my mind. "You sure?" He questioned. "Ugh. Fine." I said hopping out of bed to the closet and I grabbed my swimming suit. "Be out in a minute. Catbug you should leave." I said smiling "But why? I'll look away." He asked flying out of the room, the door shutting behind him.

        I finished changing and walked out to the living room. Chris was waiting for me. "Why  didn't you leave with the others?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Well, what if something happened to you while you were in there?" "I guess you have a point." I said, walking out. Danny and Beth were splashing each other. I narrowed my eyes. I turned and looked and looked at Chris, who was doing the same. I guessed he had a liking for Beth.

       We made it to the others, and I trotted into the ice cold water. I gasped at the cold at first, but managed to stay in. Wallow yelled "Bellyflop!" and I gasped, knowing how big the splash would be. Wallow jumped, and before he landed, he levitated and splashed a tiny splash. The others cheered on how legit his tiny splash was and I giggled.

         We swam around for a bit more and went inside. "I'm gonna have Plum come over." Beth said, biting her lip.  "What's wrong?" I asked. "The boys are going to go bonkers over Plum." She said, walking ahead.

          Evenyually, Plum did come over, and Wallow and Danny drooled over her, doing stupid things to try and impress her. I gritted my teeth as I watched Danny. It hurt terribly to watch him. Why do I have to like him? I asked myself. "Oooh, looks like someone is Strawberry Jelly." Chris said smirking. I blushed and glared at Chris. "Am not!" I said. "Yeah, whatever you say, tomato." He said smiling. I shook my head and returned to watching Danny. "Nila. Plum. Let's go to my room before we get pregnant." She snapped getting up, Plum and I obeying.
