Fallen Angels

Chapter 1

I'm Ava and yes, people always told me I had a strange name. I have no friends because I never wanted to have them. Everyone is just trying to play with you and betray you. I had one best friend and her name was Emily, but she wasn't a real friend. She just played me and in the end left me all alone. I'm fine with beeing alone, I don't like people.

The important thing is that I am a home schooler and my mom and dad never gave me the opportunity to go to school. I don't know why, but they told me the time would come when I would find out why they were protecting me. I have an older brother and his name is Adam. He was homeschooled just like me, but he was, because he is outstanding. He has power and he is not just a human like us. I don't know why I don't have the power and he has. Yeah, I'm not quite as happy as him.

We live in Mystical Falls, this city is full of all mystical creatures like vampires, wolves, angels, demons, spirits and normal people like me. We have a pact with them all so that they never attack people, and we don't attack or kill them.

We have lived for so many years, but there is a clan of fallen Angels called Seraphini. They don't want us to exist. They think we are weak and have no special powers. Angels protect us from them, but there is one legend that one day a human will come who will be stronger than any of them and that he or she will be king of us all. That is why they do not love us, because they fear that this could happen and then their leader Satan will no longer be the strongest and most powerful creature in this world.

Angels protect us and until we have them we are safe, but at this time many angels become fallen angels and no one knows how or why they did it. Angels are the most godly creatures.

I was just lying in my room trying to fall asleep when mom came into my room and told me that she and dad needed to talk to me. Ok, just like usual, they have to worry about this new situation. It's not like anyone is going to hurt me. They protect me and Adam always protects me. He protects the whole family and no one can hurt us. In the past, when I was little, there were several times when some vampires tried to attack us, but Adam killed them with one glance. I told you he is just too powerful. He is just like any older brother, and he protects me too much. I came to the living room where Mom and Dad were sitting. They seem a little serious and aren't like usually.

„Okay, what happened now? I already know everything I need to know." I told them because I'm upset with them always beeing worried about me like I am a child.

„Ava honey, we only care about you and we have one thing to tell you." Mom told me and she looked at dad. .

„Okay, tell me." I calmed down because I didn't want to upset her. She just cares about me.

„Hunny, you are going to Salvatory Private School and you will be safe there until they find a solution against Serafins. They are clans of angels and fallen angels who protect people against seraphins." Dad told me and I was really shaken up with that. I'm not ready for that, I don't think I ever went to school and now I have to go to school with angels.

„Oh great you never let me in school, and now I have to go somewhere I don't belong. Thank you." I was very angry because I know they would harass us there because we are weak for them. They are always so full of themselves because they have power.

„I'm sorry, dear, but this is for your own safety. Please prepare to go tomorrow."

I went to my room sad. I will miss my home, why should I go. I'm totally safe here. I went to pack my things and simply went to my bed because I had no energy for anything.

***THE FOLLOWING DAY***

„Hunny, please hurry up. We have to leave now or we'll be late." Daddy yelled and I went downstairs. He already put all my stuff in the car, and they waited just for me.
