There ya go lovelies, just as I had promised, the part 2 of handkerchief. Sorry but not sorry for leaving you hanging. *chuckles* Enjoy part 2. Happy reading!

            ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

You insert the key in the key hole, twist the door knob and open the door, entering the apartment you share with your best friend.

You take of your shoes, which were drenched in water, and set them at a side. Taking off your also drenched coat, you carry it with you and toss it in the laundry basket.

Just as you walk in the living room, your best friend comes rushing to you with a face mask adoring her face. "Oh my God, are you crazy? Why didn't you take an umbrella? Didn't you read the weather forecast today? Do you have any idea how worried I was? Why are you smiling so creepily? Did you hit your head somewhere?" She starts to bombard you with questions, barely giving you time to answer one. Her hand find its way to your forehead in order to check your temperature and admist her non stopping questions, a chuckle escapes your mouth at her antics.

"Geez, woman. So many questions at once. Give me a break." You say with exasperation.

"Nevermind. Go get changed. You'll catch a cold." Your friend shakes her head, slapping your arm as she pushes towards your room.

"Ouch- That hurt, you lil shit!" You whine, rubbing your arm pretending to be hurt as you walk to your room.

"Good!"

A while later you return to the living room after a warm shower and having changed into much comfortable clothes, and take a seat beside your friend on the sofa. She was watching her favourite television show while munching on her popcorn, not even sparing you a glance.

"How's it going with your boyfriend?" You ask turning to her, reaching your hand out to the bowl of popcorn but she slaps it way.

"It's going good. He's taking me out tomorrow." She replies cheerfully, ignoring your pout and attempted to grab some popcorm.

She goes on talking about her "perfect" boyfriend at length without getting tired for even a moment. You're usually a very good listener but however, on this day, you were very distracted. Your mind was roaming elsewhere, back to him and what happned in the cafe.

"To earth, y/n." She flashes her hands in front of your eyes. "Did you even listen to a word of what I said?" She asks you, sighing. You awkwardly laugh, biting your tongue to which she narrows her eyes, shaking her head.

"Spill." She crosses her arm and turn her head to look straight at you.

You begin to tell her eveything that had happened in the cafe, from you weeping to him keeping the handkerchief on your table.

"So you're telling me a complete stranger noticed you crying and gave you a handkerchief?" She asks, her jaw dropped in awe.

"Yeah." You reply with a smile, still not over his polite gesture.

"When are you going to give this gentleman back the handkerchief though?"
