Yoongi stared ahead of him, his eyes tracing the small cracks in his phone. It had been ten minutes since he'd gather his stuff together and sat down waiting for his boyfriend.

In all honesty, he had wanted to impress Hoseok's family. They are the most important thing, besides Yoongi, to Hoseok. The first time they had met him though, he could tell they wanted somebody else. The strained smiles, the awfully polite conversation but nothing else, and the hard stares whenever he touched Hoseok. They didn't say it to him, but Hoseok had told him later that month that they admitted they didn't approve of him.

At first, he was upset. But he quickly got over it. Why fret over some people he wouldn't see except a couple times a year? Then Hoseok had this realization that his family needs to see that Yoongi is what's best for him. It began this thing of his. He'd find any excuse to have Yoongi and them in the same room. Apparently, they'd eventually like him if they see him more.

He hated the vibes he'd receive if Hoseok wasn't in the room with them. They make it clear then. Talking amongst themselves, talking about their relationship, but never actually asking Yoongi or Hoseok for details. But they'd play along for Hoseok, they love him so much. They'd pretend they liked his boyfriend, not knowing that he knew of their dislike of Yoongi. But he'd done the same. Pretending he, at the least, tolerates their presence.

So that's why he agreed. That's why he's waiting for his boyfriend to take them on a five-day-vacation to the family cabin. Hoseok is why he does anything else besides go to work and school.

The phone starts to vibrate, Hoseok's face lighting up the dark room. Something tugs at his lips and they lift only a bit. Hoseok makes him happy, even though his family doesn't.

His parents being on a vacation themselves and left him to his own devices, but he let them know of his whereabouts. He'd done some massive begging, embarrassing as it is, though he'd never tell Hoseok that he begged for him. They gave specific instructions ("Don't forget condoms!" "That's not-" "Also make sure all the lights ans electricity and stuff is off before you leave.") that he has to follow or else going out with Hoseok five feet away from their yard won't happen.

He answers the phone, putting it against his ears, hearing Hoseok breathing a bit loudly. Why would he-

"I'm outside your door~ hurry up!" He speaks, his happiness bleeding through the phone. His tiny smile grows a little more. He forgot how he liked hearing his voice.

He slings his backpack around his shoulders and stands up. As he navigates through the dark and still house, he closes all the doors. Double checking if he did all the chores they listed for him, and double checking the time. Hoseok had told him they were going to start driving around 6:00. It's 5:03. Oh well. Close enough.

As he opened the door, he is wrapped in a pair of arms only belonging to his boyfriend. "I missed you so much!" He sings softly into his ear. Yoongi lets himself be hugged, and wraps his own arms around the happy boyfriend.

"I missed you too, you little shit." He mumbles, making sure to add in a worthless insult. Hoseok whines in his ear, not really paying attention to the nickname. They part eventually, and Hoseok wraps his fingers around his, and leads him to his car. The only good things about this trip is that Hoseok and him would be driving behind the two cars containing Hoseok's family, alone.

And the fact they'd get their own room. Yoongi appreciated that Hoseok's were polite enough to let them have their space. God help them if Yoongi was sleeping in a room full of children without any adults.
