Chapter 2

(Ratchet's POV)

I spent about four or five days with Harp learning many things about her. Her skill with being able to fix a vehicle less than number days needed is impressive.

I just wanted to know one thing. Why didn't I know about her when I was a in base.

Harp basically explain everything that had happen when she told me about her parents dieing.

I frown looking at her as her mother's car went away to a new owner. She step in and she sigh, "Done..."she said just falling to the floor.

"You are one of the strangest femmes I have ever met."I said kneeling down looking over her. She chuckle,"Your bet ya!"she sit up and went to her design studio,"Now since I am done I can take all my money and do what heck I want with it."I said.

She independent than most femmes I have care for or even met. Harp truthfully live her life as if they want her to.

But...I had one thing in mind...

"Harp.."I said frowning leaning on a metal bar when her small self comes up,"I have to leave and find my comrades.".

She had pain in her eyes, "Ratchet, I already knew that." she said kicking the tool near by. I hated that,"Harp, you know that I can't stay here forever. What do you want with a old timer like me?"I said. Her back facing me and she kept quiet.

She sniffle,"I know...but what about that your promise? You said you would be my guardian..."she said crying.

My spark painful knew that she was right. I kneel down to her small size and sigh. "And I did."I said.

(Harp's POV)

I didn't want to lost someone like him. He like a father figure to me and I can't lost that..not again.

"And I did."he said kneeling down looking at me. I look up at him and realize what he meant. I wanted to jump up like as if I finally won something.

He stand up crossing his arms, "Once your in this you can't go back." I nod.

"Decepticons will try to kill you."

I nod.

"Also that you will be counted on as both my human and maybe one of the team humans.".

I nod again inching to a box.

Me being able to act like myself in front of him made be goofy.

I raise my hand and the other over my heart,"I,Harp Angel Smith, Ratchet's human. Promise to not cause any trouble for the team of Autobots. And promise to do as told."I said.

Ratchet start laughing and stand up crossing his arms,"Go get ready. I have no idea how long we are going to be gone but I want you to understand. There is no turning back."he said serious.

I nod.

He transform getting some recharge as I quickly run over to my house. I refuse to bring anything I want. I needed to focus.

Taking a deep breath I pulled out one thing I am going to need as I reach for my first aid kit. Forcing myself to leave all electronics here.

My list...woah...

Needs:
-Clothes.
-Underwear (Bras as well).
-Money (All of it).
-Food.
-Water.
-First aid kit.

I have everything. I put it all in one bag..but I had to bring one thing I love...

It was my blanket my grandmother crafted herself for me. And it is warm special when it gets cold at night.

Slowly I finally put all of it together and head to the garage. My steps speed up when I see Ben coming up in his car with two other girls. "Harp,we need to talk."he said inching closer as I push open the door. Ratchet sits there as I open the door and sit inside. Ben went go push me onto the seat till I punch him in the face.

"Get you aft away from me,I don't need you,I never needed you."I said to Ben as I press a button on controller to open the doors. The girl look at my 'drive' the car and I frown at them.

Ratchet decide to take some action,"Time for me to say by. Tell the army I am going off the grid."I said to Ben throwing him the keys. Ben questionable look at me till the dust was in his face.

Ratchet slip the seat belt across my chest. I smile feeling better, "You free now."he said to me and I smile happily. "Yes,I know it going to take a lot by just allowing me to come along. I won't let you down Ratchet. I promise."I said holding onto the seat belt.

He chuckle keeping quiet driving down the road.

We're on the road on our way to Chicago. Our bond as him being my guardian grew and I have no doubt that he will keep me safe. And I had to provide for him as his human.

I look outside to see the stars began to set on the west side as I felt my eye droop. I lean back rubbing my eyes struggling to stay awake. Yes.. I am 18 but I do have a inner kid that only ones who are close to me can see. And I finally figure out why I am taking a liking to Ratchet.

One..he is super smart. Beside being twice older than me he knows lots of things I don't know about. Two..he a big teddy bear, he refuse to amitt he sometimes let me hug him.

I never wanted to leave home but this is the best for him and me. Ratchet is my guardain.

A good medic/doctor who fixes both Autobots and humans.

He older like I said before,so he told me a few stories about Cybertron and battles he been in. And the name of some of his other comrades.

My favorite thing...

I'm his first human he ever had. And he even said that it will for the best. I will do everything I can to help him get to his Autobots. Even if it kills me.
