I had just run through the barrier when I saw James and Remus looking for me. I decided to mess with them.
I snuck onto the train and found an empty compartment. Victory!
I went in, and hid underneath my robes so that if someone looked in here, all they would see was a person sleeping. They couldn't see my face.
Soon I heard their voices.
"Well James, he'll get on the train. Eventually." Reus sighed.
They walked in my compartment and said,"Well, looks like the only empty one" James pointed out.
We were about to leave the station when James started panicking.
"Remus! What if he missed the train? Or what if we were imagining things when we met him? Am I going mad?!" James said in one breath.
Remus looked a little bit worried, but not as much as James.
"James, I'm sure Sirius-" I cut him off by yawning hugely.
"Did someone say my name?" I asked in mock tiredness.
They looked like they were confused, but that went to embarrassment, then anger.
"Did you hear all of that? Because if you did I swear if you tell Evans you will regret it." James threatened.
"Pft. Please Jamie, I could easily beat you in a duel."
"No you can't!"
"Yes I can!"
"Can't!"
"Can!"
"Can't!"
"Can!"
"Boys! Will you please stop your bickering? Its giving giving me a headache!" Remus snapped at us. The two of us grinned.
"Nope!" I said, popping the 'p'.
"We are almost to Hogwarts. Better change into your robes." A bored prefect said.
James looked at me with a mischievous smile.
That prefect was going to be the first victim of the greatest pranksters Hogwarts has, and ever will see. James Potter and Sirius Black.
