Debate: NaLu or NaLi? [There may be spoilers]
Hey, @JellalSasuke here. Today we'll be discussing which pairing is better: NaLu (Natsu x Lucy) or NaLi (Natsu x Lisanna). Now, I know everyone has different opinions, but I personally think NaLi is better. I know very few agree with me; most of you are for NaLu. But I think Natsu and Lucy are better off as friends.
What really made me start shipping NaLi was their cute past. You know, when they were small and found Happy's egg and decided to raise it as their own. They started a pretend family where Natsu was the father and Lisanna was the mother. She asked him if, when they grew up, could she be his real wife. I mean, come on! That was so sweet! Natsu even blushed. I do think he loves her, even though he doesn't show it that much.
When Lisanna came back from Edolas, he was SO surprised to see her. In a good way. It shows that he really missed her. Of course then he had to ruin the moment and pounce on her. Total mood-ruiner.
I think Lisanna loves him back, too. Obviously. She asked him if she could marry him. When Natsu came to the Edolas Fairy Tail, she hid from him. She was shy and didn't want to make him sad.
Lucy, on the other hand... Natsu DOES love her, but in a big-brother sort of way. He protects her in a brotherly way. I'm not entirely sure abou tn Lucy's feelings but it seems that she loves him. But he is completely oblivious to this fact and I think it's better this way. Just as friends.
I mean, suppose they got into a relationship. Fairy Tail would lose its humour (apart from Gray's and Natsu's bickering). Every time he snuck into her house, it just wouldn't be funny.
So you see, I ship NaLi and it truly is the best shipping with the cutest past.
