The next morning I received a text. I opened it, curious as to who the hell would message me at 7 am. It was David. "Good morning. Lunch later?" I looked out the little window, I could see the whole New York skyline. If you've ever been to New York you know that it is such a beautiful sight, it's captivating. Yet all I could think about was why he would ever want to have lunch with me. I was an average girl with unusually chubby cheeks and really bushy eyebrows. My heart was basically pumping out of my chest, I managed to type "Sure. Um where you wanna go?" "It'll be a surprise" This total stranger that I just met yesterday was surprising me. I looked at the time it was 7:49. I had like 5 hours until we we're going to meet. I don't understand how I was supposed to cope. I had to look my best. I ran to the bathroom, and tied my hair in a bun. I looked into the mirror. I looked at my long eyelashes, the dimple at the corner of my left cheek, my naturally thick eyebrows. I wondered what David saw in me. Why he invited me. Why he wanted to ever even see me again. I picked out this  short black dress with a big aqua blue bow around the waist. I laid it out on my bed with a bracelet to go with it. I called my mom to say hi. As the phone rang, I thought of telling her about David. IOur love was love it for sight and the whole world need to know that no one could take him away from me.
