I couldn't help it I kept replaying Ethan's words over and over again. I don't understand I am sorry it's not like I lied while we were friends.
I layer on my bed crying sobbing into my pillow. Suddenly I felt two warm hand curve around my waist. I turn around to see Grayson. I lightly smiled.
"Hey you left I thought you were going to wait after the football match."
"I'm sorry I didn't feel well" I said. And with that our convosatipn was over
A WEEK LATER
We were all sat at the table eating dinner. Grayson had his girlfriend round shes called Ellie she is also one of my best friends. I was lucky enough to be invited to dinner with them I don't normally but Grayson wanted me to. I was across from Grayson and next to Ethan. Graysons parents were at different ends of the table facing each other. I would now and then smile at Ethan and he would just huff. Once we were finished grays parents got up and cleaned up the dishes.
We all sat at the table being silent until Ellie asked me a question.
"So Maddi have you got a boyfriend yet?"
"No" I looked over at Ethan as he was silently laughing.
"Whats so funny?" I said to Ethan.
"Oh nothing" he said back to me.
"It must be something" I snapped.
"I think we're going to leave you to it" Grayson said. He grabbed Ellie's hand and walked upstairs.
"Whats so funny Ethan" I snapped again.
"Can down it's nothing" he said.
"I can't even with you I don't know why I would want to be friends with you anyway" I said as o walked of. I felt I form grip on my wrist. I turned around to see Ethan with and angry face and his hand on my wrist.
"It's not my fault I don't want to be friends with someone who lies"he shouted.
"For gods sake Ethan I didn't even talk to you we were barely friends"
"How cold hearted are you" he asked.
"Why do you even care it was just one party"I said.
"Maybe because I thought we really connected I thought I might finally get a girl I like" he whined.
"Ball to the Poo You never would of liked me you would of f me then run of to the rest of them."I yelled.
"No I wouldn't of I didn't with Meredith when I thought she was the one did I".
"How do I know that you might be lying like you do when you tell girls you care about them".
"You know because that's why we ended, she cheated on me because I don't want to do it with her"I replied.
"Why didnt you do it with her you do it with the rest of the girls at school" I said.
"No I don't" he argued.
"Then why are you the schools f boy"
"I don't know" he looked down to his shoes.
"Ethan why then you don't get called that for nothing".
"Because okay I went out with a girl I really liked and she told people that we did but we didn't and when people asked it was just easier to say yes okay you happy now" his stormed up the stairs and slammed his door shut and I didn't hear from him the rest of the night.
