The Edin elf ran as quickly as he could to the Clan Gates before the last fire was put to rest. His feet pounded on the ground like a rhinoceros was charging at his prey. Short breaths were taken and he hurled over fallen trees and maneuvered such obstacles that blocked his path. The Edin looked over his shoulder to see if he was being followed, luckily, he wasn't. He could just see the Edin Clan gates ahead of him. Maybe, just maybe with much more haste, he could make it on time. He could feel his feet being cut underneath him from all the sharp objects that scattered the Forest's floor. He cursed under his breath when he saw the slightly movement ahead of him.

"Shi'a!" He whispered to him self. "I'm not going to make it in time!"

He pushed himself further, faster with even more haste. The shrubs an tree  branches hitting his pale skin, mostly cutting his cheeks. The sweet was dripping off him like he was in a hot bathe in the winter, keeping him from freezing his bones. Well, he sure wasn't feeling cold, not now. The Edin's heart was surely beating fast enough like a leopards one. He would've sworn he could feel like he was going to collapse on the Forest floor, or fail a jump and slip over some old moss.

He was closing in on the gates now, a few more metres and he could go home.
A smiled spread on his lips and he was ever so close to home.

Until he felt extra weight topple on his waste, than his whole body. He gasped and roughly hit the forest floor, just centimeters away from the gates entrance. With a disappointed look on his face, with sighed and shoved his face into the Forests ground. He heard a woman laugh so loud, the wolves may as well ran away.

"I win," said a lady with a strong voice, "looks like you owe me some Fogoa, my Edin friend."

The man struggled his way to turn is entire body around just to face the woman. He managed and huffed out a large sigh. Face red as he starred at his friend's lime green orbs.

"Daeli to you too," he spat and sighed in embarrassment. "Keéshaï."

Keéshaï laughed and placed a hand on his broad chest gently, smirking at him, "It is not my fault you're so slow, Adian."

"Daen! I'm not slow! I didn't have boots on!"

"So did I."

Adian was going to retort, but huffed in response. Keéshaï chuckled and placed her lips on his forehead, kissing him softly. She got off him and reached her hand out for his larger one. Adian could stay salty at her forever. He did lose after all. He accepted it and she lifted him up with ease. She couldn't contain her lips to spread into a triumphant smirk. Adian just rolled his eyes and walked into the gates, Keéshaï following begins him will a bounce in her step.

The lights of the Edin Clan were slowly going bright, the Magï used alighting spells instead of pure fire. In case a fire were to start. Nobles, hunters and children all walked the paths in the Clan. Including Keéshaï and Adian. The stars were lit with excitement tonight, and the moon joined them. The old huts smelled like dry bark on tries and the dirt smelled like it was recently water by rain. The elf-children came running up to Adian and hugging his legs tightly, not wanting to let go. One on the elf-children glanced at Keéshaï and gave her a cold, dead stare. Obviously, he didn't mean to. She was an outcast and Keéshaï accepted that along time ago. The only true friend she ever had was Adian. The children ran off to somewhere else and the two were alone once more, taking in the Clan they were every so grateful of.

Adian couldn't contain his eyes from the mysterious race next to him. He knew about Keéshaï's story and how she never knew her race, let alone her mother or father. Adian felt a lot of sympathy for the woman and wanted to give her all he could. He broke his glance away from her and starred at the ground, wondering why her parents gave her up in the first place on that winter night. They walked some more when Keéshaï dragged Adian away from the paths and into a dark gap between two huts. Adian was taken back when she slammed him against the hut wall, causing a groan from the male Edin.

"Daen! What was-"

He was cut off by Keéshaï's lips pressed against his own. He was shocked, but not surprised. He knew this Edin very well, and knew all her tricks. He managed to play along and kissed Keéshaï back with much more dominance. Keéshaï ran her hands over his already bare chest as she placed one on his cheek. Adian traced her curvy hips not with haste, he wanted to explore her body at his one paste. Keéshaï wrapped her arms around Adian's neck as he did the same but placing his hand tightly on her hips, bringing Keéshaï closer to him.

The two broke apart the kiss and starred at each other with a gleam in their eyes. Keéshaï slightly chuckled that turned into a laugh. Adian joined her as they two held each other with passion and not giving a care in the world.

"So," Adian gleamed with a smirk, "That was fun."

"You little Shi'a. Though, that was fun."

"Care for round two?"

Keéshaï laughed and placed a small kiss again on his lips, and pulled away from him. "How did I ever meet such a fine man?"

"Me? A man? Ha! More like you're the man." Adian gleamed at Keéshaï's bright green orbs. Keéshaï wasn't amused.
"Viu Bulí..."

"No, don't be sorry, I was only messing with you." Keéshaï backed away and playfully hit Adian in the arm. He pretend it hurt and made a pouting face.

"Gha! I've been hit in the heart, its forever aching!" He shading the light by placing his hand on his forehead dramatically, making Keéshaï's face cringe. Adian joked and went back to his normal self, smiling with his big silver orbs. Everything was still with silence as Keéshaï's cheeks flustered out a random blush.

"Ré Lio rá."

Adian suddenly said, that caught Keéshaï off guard. That was the first time he said that to her. 'I love you' seemed foreign to Keéshaï's mind. She was suddenly finding hard to breathe as her heart was beating faster.
With hesitation, she gave away a soft smile.

"Ré...Ré Lio rá têp, Adian."

Adian smiled softly and walked up to her, placed his hand on her right cheek and lay his head on hers. Keéshaï hugged her arms, and accepted the affections.

"No matter what they think of you, Keéshaï, I will always be here for you. I don't care what your race is, and I don't care what you are, as long you are happy I'll protect you from those you will harm you. I'll always be by your side, Mûi Lio."

"Adian..." She felt her heart beat slow down when Adian spoke so calmly to Keéshaï. She felt like those words he said were his very last. She smiled weakly at the elf. "Thank you, Mûi Lio."

"Let's get home, its past the stars, too late for us to be roaming out this late at night."

"Yehî. That'd be best."
