Chapter 10: The Accident

Roxanne

-Please Roxy!!! Tim said and gave me his adorable puppy eyes.

-Not the puppy eyes!!! You know I can't say no to them, I said anguished.

But Tim didn't stop doing the puppy eyes. Instead Tom joined him.

-Okay! But don't tell our dads.

-Pinkie promise, they both said happy.

Patrick just laughed at me. He was the only one strong enough to resist their adorableness. We went for the ice Cream carriage. The twins choose chocolate taste and I paid. Patrick smirked at me.

-You know I can't say no to their puppy eyes, I said and walked with the twins to the slide.

-I know. They have full control over you with their puppy eyes, Patrick answered.

-You can't catch me Tim! Tom yelled and ran towards the road.

At first I didn't react. But they didn't stop and the cars on the road were driving way to fast to stop.

-No wait!! I yelled and ran after them.

But they didn't stop. Soon they where running over the road. A car came driving in full speed. The twins stopped and looked at the car. Suddenly they realized that they were not in the playground.

-Look out!! I yelled and pushed them aside.

Patrick

-You can't catch me Tim! Tom yelled and ran towards the road.

Both of the twins ran towards the road and no one of them stopped. Both me and Roxy realized were this was heading.

-No wait!! Roxy yelled and ran after them.

Roxy was much faster than me. A car was driving at full speed towards the twins. They both realized that they were in danger and screamed.

-Look out!! Roxy yelled and pushed them aside.

The twins was on the other side of the road, safe and sound. Roxy on the other hand was hit by the car and thrown a few meters away. The car immediately stopped.

-Roxy!!! I yelled terrified and ran up to her.

She was laying way to still and blood were all over her. Her eyes were closed

-Roxy!! Rox pox!!! Roxanne!!! Stay with me! Someone call a goddamn ambulance!!! I yelled and felt tears building up.

Me and the twins sat in the waiting room. Then we heard running footsteps and we all looked up to see our dads rushing through the corridor. They stopped a nurse who were just checking some papers.

-Where is she!? Where's my babygirl!? My dad Martin yelled at the nurse.

-Dad! I yelled.

Both of my dads ran up to me and the twins.

-She's in surgery. She's been for an hour, I explained.

Both of my dads looked like they were going faint. So they settled down at the chairs beside me.

-What happened?

-Tim and Tom ran out on the road and a car was driving in their direction at full speed. Roxy were faster than me and pushed the twins aside and took the hit.

-Is it our fault? Tim asked with pain in his voice.

-No it's not. You didn't want her to get hurt. It's okay. She will be okay, I smiled at them.
