"I'm so excited!" I whispered to Harry as we were walking to our seats. The stadium was huge with millions of people. We got to sit right at the top, which was amazing.

We were walking, when I saw Uncle and Draco on the platform beneath us.

"Edelen." Uncle sneered.
"Uncle." I shot back.
"I see you found a new family. Such a downgrade. Too bad, you could have come home."
"You and I both know that I couldn't have. Don't pretend you weren't the one that kicked me out. At least I found people that care about my well being." I said in anger. Without saying anything else, Uncle turned around and walked away.

I took in a deep breath and continued walking. Hermione linked our arms, probably so I wouldn't fall over or go after them.

We arrived at our seats, which were, in my opinions, the best seats in the whole stadium. I sat beside Ron and Harry. We arrived just as the game started.

There was fireworks, and cheering. Personally, I was Cheering for the Irish, even though the Bulgarians had Krum as a seeker.

The match was amazing! It was close, but the Irish won by a hair. We were all back at the text celebrating, when we heard a boom come from outside.
"Must be the Irish." Said George, brushing it off. Arthur ran into the tent.
"It's not the Irish. Come on, everyone let go. Hurry!"

We all ran out of the tent, and it was chaos.everybody was running and screaming. There were men it black, tall, pointy hats. Fred George, Ginny is your responsibility. Everyone, get to the portkey!" Arthur instructed before running away. I was running with Ron, Hermione, and Harry. One second Harry was behind me, and the next he was gone.
"Harry! Harry!" I called, not being able to find him. Ron grabbed my hand and pulled me with them, otherwise I would have stayed back and tried to find him.

We all got to the portkey, everyone except Harry.
"Ron! We have to go find him!" I yelled.
"Or someone else will! What if those death eaters find him!" I finished.
"Wait till dad gets back! Then we find him." Said Ron.
"That's a horrible solution. I'm going myself then." I said, then turned into a bird before Ron or Hermione could stop me.

The place had emptied. There was no one left. I turned back into a human, thinking it would be easier to find him.

Tears were streaming down my face as I looked for him. Soon, I saw him crouched behind something.
"Harry!" I called. He turned around as I ran up to him.
"There you are! I was worried sick!" I scolded.
"Harry!" Hermione called, her and Ron had found us.

A group of people surrounded us.
"Which one of you did it! I know it was one to you! Tell us, now! Or we will fire!" A man yelled at us.

I looked up at the sky, and saw the dark mark, which is why these people were cornering us.

Arthur came running towards us.
"Stop! Those are my kids!" He yelled. He then started arguing with the man that cornered us.

"Ed, what's that, in the sky?" Harry asked.
"That's the dark mark, Harry. That's his mark." I answered.

Tomorrow we leave for Hogwarts, and I was beyond excited.

I had had no contact with my dad over the summer, hoping that maybe he would turn up. He never did. Today, I have decided to write him a letter, hoping he would answer.

Dear Father,
It's me, Edelen. You went missing after that night in the shrieking shack. I just wanted to tell you, you're a free man now. I thought, maybe since you were, you would come back for me. I was kicked out of the Malfoy Manner and am now staying with the Weasleys. If you get this, please write back.
Sincerely,
Edelen.

I finished the letter and put it in an envelope. I gave the letter to Terra and watched him fly away. I hoped that he would find him and that he would write back.

I walked into Harry's room, and found him sitting on his bed.
"Harry?"
"Hey. Edelen. What's up?"
"Have you been in contact with Sirius over the summer?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh," I said, dropping my eyes and sitting beside him.
"Has he not written to you?" Asked a worried Harry.
"No. What if he hates me. I feel like he just abandoned me."
"He didn't abandon you, maybe, he was worried to talk to you. Worried that you hated him."
"Maybe.." I trailed off. Knowing the truth about him now, I didn't hate him anymore. I had never thought about him hating me, though. I guess it was possible, I just couldn't think of why he would hate me, though. I guess it could be because of the disappearance of my mother. If he never wrote me back, I guess I would never know.
