I made my way down the hall afraid to make eye contact with anyone. I only had a few friends at school, only one of them know about my power. Although I only had a few friends, I did have a boyfriend. Not even he knew about my power, I was afraid he would be afraid of me. I sighed and looked up, there was Jason, my boyfriend.
"Is everything alright? You've been really shy the last couple of days." he said looking a little concerned. I looked away.
"I'm fine." I said.
"I have a feeling there is something you're not telling me." he raised an eyebrow. I had to tell him.
"Come over to my house today okay." I said and smiled then walked away.

I was at home pacing around like a caged animal. In an hour Jason would be over. I wasn't ready to show him. What would he say?
I heard my door click open and Gina stepped in. I stared at her as she walked toward me.
"I know you're afraid but I know Jason, he will love you no matter what." She said tenderly. I looked away and stayed silent.
"I suppose you're right." I finally said after a long awkward silence. She smiled and left me in my room. I sighed and sat down on my bed.
I spent the hour thinking about what he would say. I heard the doorbell ring and my heart skipped a beat. I heard it open and Alexis call for me. I shook as I made my way to the door. He smiled and waved as I let him in. We sat on the couch and I told Alexis and Gina to go into the other room.
I held his hand with one of my hands and put the other one up to where he could see it. I slowly pushed out my claws on my hand. He gasped then let go of my hand.
"Get away from me you freak! We're done!" He pushed me back making me fall back on the couch. I heard him walk out the door pretty much slamming it. I started to cry. I knew I should of kept it a secret.
Gina and Alexis stepped out of the other room and gave me a hug.
"He doesn't deserve you anyways." Gina smiled making me smile. Gina always knew how to make me smile.
They pulled away and I walked to my room wiping my eyes on the way. I opened my door and sat on my bed closing my door behind me. I decided to take a nap to take my mind off of what happened.
I laid down and pulled the blanket over me. I then heard a knock on my window and my eyes shot open. I sat up and slowly walked to my window. I opened it to see a man with brown hair and an intense face.
"May I help you?" I asked. His face lit up. he picked me up and spun me around. He set me down and I gave him a weird look.
"Who are you?" I asked. He squatted down and hugged me tightly.
"I'm your father."
