I sat up pulling out my claws and slashing without thinking. It took me a minute to realize what I had done. I had scratched my friend right in the stomach.

"Alexis!" I yelled as Gina fell down. Alexis ran into the room and saw Gina laying on the floor bleeding. "I'm sorry I had another dream about my dad..." My voice trailed off.

"It's okay. Let's get her into the kitchen!" She said. She picked her up and I followed her to the kitchen. Gina was groaning in pain and holding her bleeding stomach as we laid her on the ground. Alexis was a nurse so she was able to patch up her wound easily. She helped Gina stand up and walk to her bed. I followed.

"She will need to rest for a while. She lost quite a lot of blood." Alexis said. I nodded my head and stood by Gina's bed as Alexis walked out.  She had her eyes closed but I knew she was awake. I can feel it.

"I'm sorry." I managed.

"It's alright. I shouldn't of tried to wake you." She said her eyes still closed.

"Okay get some rest. I'll be right here if you need anything."

"Thanks." she rolled over and fell asleep. I sighed and sat down. I thought about my dream. Had that really happened? Was that the truth? I thought that my father had abandon me. I don't know.

After a while Gina started snoring. I let out a chuckle and stood up. She was asleep so I guess I would take a nap also.

I went into my room and laid down. Hopefully some sleep will get my mind off of my dad. I closed my eyes and saw my dad. My eyes shot open. There was no way I was getting any sleep. I sighed and got up.

I stepped out of my room and greeted Alexis sitting on the couch. I sat next to her and started watching TV.

"I still haven't bought a new microwave or we would pop some popcorn." Alexis said chuckling. I blushed at the thought of how I had cut their microwave in half trying to check out my claws. I gotta be more careful.

"Sorry about that." I said.

"That's fine sweetie. I can get a new one." Alexis responded. I looked back to the TV and I heard a little click and automatically picked up Gina's scent. Gina walked out of her room and sat by me on the couch.

"Feeling better?" I asked. She nodded her head and smiled. "I really am sorry."

"I know and it's ok. It only hurts a little bit now." Gina said looking down at her stomach. She had no idea how bad I felt. I knew it was my instinct but still, she is like family.

Speaking of family, I have been thinking about my real dad lately. The dream I had felt real, like it really happened sometime in my life.

Like my dad didn't actually abandon me.
