I go into detention only to see Peter there with at least 3 giggly-thirsty girls.  Disgusting...

I walk past them and sit down next to a new guy.  I've seen him, He's in my grade and pretty cute.  No, no boys this year...

"Hi, I'm Christian, I'm new."  He says to me and my heart jumps and skips a beat.  What's wrong with me?

"Hi... I'm Hannah Cotropolis, nice to meet you."  Gosh, too formal?  Ugh.

We talk throughout detention thankfully uninterrupted until of course Peter looks over to see us talking.  He comes over and puts his arm around me.

"So, you've met my girlfriend?  Don't get any ideas, pal."  He says and tries to kiss me.

"What are you doing?  We aren't dating and we never were.  So take your hands off of me!"  I get out of his grasp and walk out of the classroom.

Silence.  Sweet sweet silence, other than the thoughts in my head of course.

Next thing you know, the door opens.  I see Christian walk out and sit next to me.  Butterflies... Gosh I need to stop.

"I told him to lay off you.  You seem like a good person so I'm here for you if you need anything."  He says to me as he takes my hand.

"Thanks, same for you.  You seem like an amazing guy."  Guy?!  Really?!

"It's hot out here, can I take my shirt off?"  I look at him and he is sweating so....... Why not?

Without thinking, I reply, "You're hot in general so it doesn't surprise me but sure!"

Once I realized what I said, I got up and ran out of the school.  Crap!  What was I even thinking?  Nothing apparently other than my hormones.

I decided that it would be good to get my 16 year old emotions out so, I got a diary!

"Dear, future Hannah,
You always seem to mess SOMETHING up.  You are socially awkward and well, can't talk to guys for that matter.  I mean, THINK about what you are saying!  Christian is hot but... You don't need to say it!  NO BOYS REMEMBER?  UGH."

My first diary entry seems a bit harsh but true. I mean, I never even kissed a guy let alone tell one he is up to standards.

I go to sleep and do the same normal morning things that most humans do.  I get on the bus, and just listen to music.

Everything seems okay at the moment, besides the crush I am developing.  Yep, no boy pact out.  And of course in the midst of my thoughts no other than Peter comes and tries to sit by me.  Nope.

I give him my signature "Get away from me before I mess you up" look and he gets the point.  Finally!

Everything is normal until I realize that I have the same schedule as Christian...  Why universe?

He walks up to me in the hallway to 3rd period and says......
