Marissa ran to the shore as her feet were covered by water. She screamed Raven over and over again until she looked to her right and saw Raven washed up on the shore trying to get up. Marissa ran over to her. Raven was coughing and choking.

"The hell Raven!" Marissa helped her to her feet, "We need to get you back to the house."

Marissa called Alex to help her, "Al, meet us at Rave's house."

"Ok..?" Alex was confused over the phone.

"I'll explain later." Marissa hung up. Raven's hair was covered in wet sand and a strand of seaweed dangled off her leg. Marissa helped her up to the condo. She grabbed a towel and Raven sat on the couch.

"What happened?" Marissa asked, gently, sitting next to her, "Did you wipe out?"

"N-no, I don't know what happened.." Raven looked just as confused as Marissa. The front door opened and it was Alex.

"Hey-" Alex looked at them confused, "Did...it...rain...?"

"She wiped out.." Marissa wasn't confident with that answer.

"Should I call Daniel?" Alex asked.

"No!" Raven and Marissa quickly shut that idea down.

"He would have a heart attack." Raven looked down.

"Raven, are you sure you're ok?" Marissa looked at Raven once more.

"I'm fine." Raven took a deep breath, "I'm going to take a shower. You guys can chill out here or something."

Raven stood up and Alex crashed on the couch, "You don't have to tell me twice."

Raven went to the bathroom and took a shower. She was trying to remember what happened, but it was a blur. Like flashing imagines of memory in a movie. Puzzle pieces. She washed out her hair and tried harder to think.

She tried to make herself believe that she wiped out. But she felt like she was pulled under. But that was stupid and impossible. So she shrugged it off. She got out and wrapped a towel around her self and another up in her hair. She opened the door and was brought into a huge embrace. She couldn't see the face but after she smelt their shoulder she knew who it was.

"D-Daniel..?" Raven pulled away a bit to meet his eyes. Daniel kissed her passionately.

"Are you ok? What happened?" Daniel asked, worried. Raven shifted her eyes behind him to see Marissa and Alex giving an apology look. Raven looked back at Daniel.

"N-nothing, I just wiped out." Raven looked away from his eyes but Daniel tracked them down with his.

"Now you know you don't believe that." Daniel said sternly.

"Well the what else could it be Daniel?" Raven said, pushing him a bit so she could get to her dresser, "Because it sure as hell wasn't a shucking mermaid."

"Raven-"

"Daniel, I don't know what it was. I don't even remember surfing a wave in the first place. It just happened. Now let it go."

"Else is quakin-" Marissa mumbled.

"Not the time Marissa." Alex hit her shoulder.

Raven grabbed her clothes and slammed the bathroom door locking it.

"Jesus, someone's on their period." Marissa sat on Raven's desk chair.

"I don't get it." Daniel leaned against the closed door, "Why is she mad about me worrying about her?"

"It's called a girl thing." Alex sat down on the bed, "They are confusing."

"You're telling me." Daniel chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair, "All I want is for her to feel safe and happy."

"Stop it. noT HERE NO TIME FOR BEING SOFT." Marissa stopped him from giving a whole paragraph.

"Should I go talk to her-"

"No, idiot, it's called space. Girls need it when they're pissed." Alex said grabbing pillows and sliding them behind her.

"We've been apart for two weeks." Daniel said, "Until now. Because I've been busy."

"And she still loves you the same." Alex sighed.

"I swear. She's all you talk about. She never shuts up about you-" As Marissa said that Daniel's eyes lit up, "Dude, you are only 1/3 of what she talks about. Calm down. She's got stuff to worry about a lot."

"Lies, her life is perfect." Alex crossed her arms, "I'd kill to be her."

"But then you wouldn't have Jonah!" Daniel smirked. Alex chucked a pillow at him.

"SHUT UP!" Alex yelled.

Raven came out of the bathroom with a sports bra on and some athletic shorts because bitch don't need that promo.

"Oh hell no you weren't." Marissa attacked Daniel and stripped him of him hoodie and threw it to Raven, "Put that on, right now."

Raven slowly put it on and it dropped to wear it covered her shorts. Daniel's face went bright red as he just looked at her in awe. Marissa and Alex smirked at Daniel, then at each other.

"My work here is done." Marissa brushed off her hands and joined Alex on the bed, sitting.

Daniel walked over to Raven, "Sorry for..intruding on you earlier, it just scared me.."

Raven wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek, "I know," she smiled, "Don't worry about it. I love you, it makes me happy that you care."

"And your happiness is all I need."

"I'm way to soft, pass the tissues." Marissa sniffed.
