Changed,

I promised myself, not to cry ever again. Be strong.

That's what I was telling myself over and over again. I sigh.

I told him that we should just stay friends since I don't want to continue our relationship even if we aren't really dating in the first place.

I just woke up starring at the ceiling, thinking about him. I shook my head to stop thinking about him. I got up from the bed in a sitting position. I extend my hands and body with a moan coming from my mouth.

I should wash my face first.

I walk towards the bathroom with a tired face. I turn on the lights and I took a look at myself in the mirror.

I look a mess.

I instantly turn on the faucet, the water immediately running. I grab some water with my hands and dump it all over my face feeling the fresh liquid erupt my face.

I grab some towel to wipe off the water in my face and then put it again in the drawer.

I made my hair in a high ponytail and took a toothbrush with paste. I brushed my teeth and then cleans it off with water. I wipe my mouth off with towel and I walk out of the bathroom.

I head to my closet to find an outfit to wear for the day.

I guess I should just pick whatever that looks good on me.

I grab a crop top hoody and some high waisted shorts. I put it on and I grab some white converse. I head towards my mirror to do my natural make up.

Then I pull out my ponytail to reveal my natural wavy hair. I brushed it a little so it would be neat to look at.

I look again at myself in the mirror.

I look good.

I compliment myself so I head out of my room to see both my parents preparing some breakfast.

The smell of food just made my stomach crumble.

Mmm, pancakes. My favorite.

I immediately greeted my parents a good morning with a smile.

"Oh, good morning, honey." Mom said with his back faced on me while dad is reading some newspaper with a coffee in his hand.

"Morning dad." I said sitting down waiting for food to serve.

"Morning kiddo." Dad said looking at me with a smile. He then continued reading again.

Suddenly, my phone vibrates from my pocket. I pulled it out and took a look to see who messaged me.

Girl hey! There's this upcoming party next Friday in Drake's house! Wanna come?
- Jenny

I just realized that it's Friday.

But she told me next Friday so, I still got time to tell my parents even if I'm scared as hell

I instantly look at my mom and dad to see them eating breakfast already. My mom looks at me waiting for me to say something. Dad sense it so he also looked at me.

I guess I should tell them first before I go.

"Mom, dad. C-can I go to a party?" I asked them.

I look at them and they both look at each other. It seems like they are communicating with their eyes which looks awesome.

"We will let you-" Dad said and my eyes went wide and I suddenly shouted.
