° Hardik's POV °
As soon as I walked out of Kaira's room , I heard banging of things.
I should get back in !
No, Hardik. It's her mistake and she is getting punished for it.
But that was a misunderstanding!
You've already punished yourself for 10 years. Hardik, it's okay. It is going to get better.
I walked to the lawn. I sat on the bench. Unknown tears streamed down my eyes.
This is not what I wanted. I wanted love. This sucks.
I wipped my tears and put my head in my hands.
Fuck feelings. I fucking hate them. They are confusing. They are complicated. They drive you insane
I wish there was a way to fix all this. I wish. I had dreamt the world with her.
I suppose not everything happens as you think. Not everyone you dreamt of being with be yours. Not everyone is yours forever. The only thing that lasts forever is you , yourself.
I spent all these years thinking I could get her back. But guess what ? Love is nothing but betrayal. I don't know how Ruhi believes in love. I don't even know why did she tell me to get back with Kaira?
She knew, I told her. I had too. Ruhi believes in something that I can't give her. Life fucks you up.
I stood up and went up to my room. I opened the door and saw Ruhi putting Rihan to bed. She looked at me and then immediately rushed to my side
" Are you ok ? " She asked
" Hardik, answer me. Please? Did you both fix it ? " She asked
I sat down on the bed. Ruhi immediately brought me a glass of water. I gulped it down and hugged Ruhi.
I will give her what she wants. I can't be Kaira !
" I'm not going back to her " I whispered
" Are you insane ? " She broke from the hug
" Yes Ruhi. I can't get back to her when im in love with " I lied
" No , this is not possible. You love her !" She spoke
" Ruhi , I can't leave you and Rihan. You both are my family now. The past is in the past " i spoke holding her by her shoulder
" Ruhi, I want to spend my life with you " I whispered
and this time
I'm sure,
This is what I want.
