Mackenzie POV
When I opened the door I was shocked who I saw. My favorite cousin in the world who was always there for me was sitting on my couch with a smile on his face. I couldn't hold anything back I ran and jumped in his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Jacob I missed you so much" I whispered, my face was buried into his jacket smelling his strong scent. He finally put me down, wiping the tears away that had falling.
"Are you okay?" he asked pulling me to sit down next to him. Tears brimmed my eyes as memories went back to what all had happened, I felt hands start to rub my shoulder. I nodded, and started telling Jacob all that had happened.
"But Harry is here, and said he is going to do his best to protect me and the girls. So did the boys." I said wiping my tears away smiling.
"Good, well I have news... I moved downtown so if there is anything that you both need, don't hesitate to call" I nodded my head. Jacob, Harry, and I talked for a good couple of hours before one of the girls cried. I told the boys I will be back, heading upstairs to see Darcy crying, Clover was rolling around. I changed Clovers diaper first picking her up first, then getting Darcy and taking both girls downstairs with me.
"Speaking of the twins there coming down the stairs now" I heard Harry tell Jacob. He turned around looking at the girls before coming to see them.
"Can I hold them?" I nodded. I gave him Darcy first, then Clover. Then I went to sit next to Harry, while watching Jacob hold the girls. I missed him so much he didn't get to come to my wedding because he was over seas on his honeymoon, Jacob had said his wife was working the reason she wasn't here. After he held the girls he had to go, him and Jennifer his wife had plans to go out to eat, I stood up and hugged him good-bye before sitting back down.
Harry POV
After Mackenzie giving Jacob a hug, she went and sit on the couch.
"It was nice meeting you Jacob, maybe we can have a family movie night soon" I told him walking him out to his car.
"You too Harry, thanks for being her for Kenzie she really loves you, and I can tell you love her that is just what you need to do because from the previous relationship she had before marrying you, and I thank you for that" he said before giving me a hug getting into his car and leaving. I was confused what happened in her previous relationship.
I turned around to go back into the house, marching up to the door I'm curious because I wanted to know what happened in Kenzie previous relationship. Once I got in the house I look, and Kenzie was sleeping. She looked so peaceful but I still had to find out what happened to her. I picked her up, taking her upstairs tucking her in good. I went back down to get the girls out their play pins to take then upstairs. I slowly walked back to our room before getting in bed, I feel asleep with that same question on my mind.
'What happened to Kenzie in her previous relationship before me?"

(Next morning)
I woke up to the smell of some breakfast cooking. I got up still sleepy walking my way down the stairs. As I came down the stairs the girls where laying down in their pins playing with toys, I went into the kitchen to see Kenzie cooking breakfast.
"Hello princess" she jumped and grabbed her chest.
"Harry styles don't ever do that again" she said giving me a plate for breakfast. As I started eating I forgot to ask Kenzie the question that's been on my mind since yesterday.
"Kenzie can I ask you an important question?" I said, she turned around looking at me.
"Sure, speak away" she said looking at me with a smile.
"Jacob and I where talking last night and he said that you had a bad relationship before me... What happened?" her smile fell into a biting on the lips, and shaking.
"I don't want to talk about it" she said starting to walk away. I softly grabbed her wrist turning her back to me.
"Mackenzie please tell me?" I said looking her in her eyes, her hands started to shake.
(Flashback)
"It was before I meet you, I had this 'boyfriend' who would always get mad easily if I talked to other guys or even looked at them. Then one night Caley and I got invited to a party at our friend Hayliee from our old high school cheer team. And one of my close guy friends was there so I hugged him, he asked to dance since Chase didn't come he wouldn't find out so I figured it would be alright. So when it was time to go Caley took me back home. I walked in and he was sitting on the couch with his phone in his hands then he started asking me questions.
"Who's this guy you where dancing with tonight?" his voice powerful. I ignored him and kept walking, then he got up and grabbed my wrist tightly. You could see the venom in his eyes.
"I'm not going to ask you again Kenzie who is this GUY? he started to raise his voice, causing me to flinch every time.
"H-he's just a close guy friend" I whispered where he could hear me clear.
"See someone sent me photos of you and him dancing, so now that I seen them I have to punish you for dancing with him" he said, before pushing me down to the ground. He started to hit me, I could feel the bruises settling in, tears poured down my face. Finally he stopped and told me...
"It's not over, if you ever leave I will find you" he whispered but that was the last time I saw him because my cousin Jacob made sure he didn't get close to me.
(Flashback over)
Tears flowed down Kenzie face as she told me the story. I felt so bad that I made her tell the story when she didn't want to in the first place.
"I'm so sorry Kenzie, but I promise she won't touch you or the girls because Jacob, the boys, and I won't let him get near you" she hugged me, like she didn't want to let go. Now that I knew I had to keep my eyes opened for anything new and odd coming.
