"Ha-ha, Jason you cant catch me" hope said running away from Jason.
"I bet, i can" Jason said.
Jason stopped to take a quick break because hope was running way too fast. "wait hope slow down!" Jason yelled. he saw a big tree that he knew she was going to run into.
"No! slow pok-" hope begin to say before she ran face forward into a tree. Hope looked at the blue sky as she felt little droplets go down her face. It was weird because she knew it wasn't raining so it had to be blood. Hope slowly lifted her hand to touch the cool substance on her forehead. Immediately the pain shocked her which made her begin to cry.
"Hope are you okay?" Jason asked nervously. He was afraid, that if his mother heard her crying he would get a whooping. which meant he couldn't play basketball with his friends. Jason was seven only one year older than hope. which meant he got in trouble for what ever she did. Jason and hope were best friends since diaper days, Both of their mothers went to the same beauty school. so they have been in separable ever since.
"Hope you got to get up or mama's gonna come out" Jason whispered as he helped and dusted her off.
"Jason!"his mother yelled.
'uh oh' Jason thought.
"what did you do to her?" his mother said running outside.
"Nothing mommy, i swear we were just playing then hope got hurt" Jason told his mother.
"i'm gonna deal with you later" Jason mother said strictly. "Are you okay Hope?"
Hope shook her head no as Jason's mother Rochelle picked her up. As Jason's mother carried a crying hope away she quickly stopped crying for one moment to stick her tongue out at Jason. ever since that day they been like bro and sis.
