"Hello everyone, i just wanted to thank all of you for coming out to see us graduate and become adults today. As we say our goodbyes to our fellow students, remember what you were when you first came to x high school a warrior, and as when you leave today you will always be a warrior. the crowd roared as i threw my cap up into the air. No i didn't make it out of high school i escaped it. Ha! i guess i never thought i would get out of this place. Don't get me wrong i had great grades in high school. Its just i don't even know how to explain it i just feel free. i walked all around the hugging families to see if i could spot my own.

"awe!, my baby all grown up" my mama said planting kisses all over my face.

normally i would tell her to stop but now i feel like I'm not gonna be seeing her in forever since im going to Duke university for basketball. i really believe that i can make it pro.

"my boy !" my pops said giving me a hug.

"hey pops" i said.

"I'm so proud of you son cant wait until i see you in the NBA making those three pointers" pops said making a air ball. i laughed and told that my dream will be coming true soon.

"pookie!"

i rolled my eyes and smirked as i seen hope running to me. i hate that nick name she gave me its ugly as hell.

"hey kid" i said giving her a hug.

"your only one year older then me,baby boy. I'm gonna be out of here in no time" she said pointing to the school.

"yea, i know" i laughed. i gave her another big hug and felt tears on my shirt.

"don't tell me you crying" i said trying to break the hug.

"No" she sniffed.

" ma, look at me" i said turning her chin towards me. "I'm not leaving you forever. I'm gonna come back"

she sniffed and laughed "congrats! baby boy" she smiled.

i kissed her cheek "thanks hope"
