Hi (: So this is a little short story I decided to write it will probably only be about a chapter long. Hope you enjoy.

Tears were drenching my face as I stared out of my bedroom window. The cold storm outside made my bedroom chilly but I didn't care. In fact, the rain felt like my only friend at the time. The only one that understood my tears. I stood up from my old, rusty window seat and I ran down the stairs in my pajamas, tears still clouding my vision. I ran outside and I was instantly drenched in the rain.

I felt yet another piece of my heart cracking and starting to bleed as memories of spending time with him in the rain started clouding my mind. I sat down on the cold concrete, soaking my pajamas in the process but I didn't care. I stared at his house, the house right across the street and I couldn't help but notice his car wasn't in the driveway.

Of course he wasn't home...

I knew this would happen. I knew he would fall out of love with me. I'm worthless. She got what she wanted; him. I felt my blood boil as I thought about them being together. At least she could make him happy... unlike me. I was a hot mess, he didn't need or want me and I knew he never would.

They warned me.

I didn't listen.

Love isn't for everyone, including me.

"Silly girl, no one will ever love you." A voice in my head said.

I felt my lips go blue and I looked down and saw my cold, damp hands shaking. I tried to breath but I soon found that my breath was taken away...

This is it.

His love was my everything, it made my days happy and bright and it made my fake smiles turn into real, happy smiles but it all faded away.

Our love is now lost and I'm afraid that it is too difficult to find.
